omg i've missed you guys so much! my freaken insane parents took away my computer (as in literally picked it up and locked it in their room so i wont use it ><) , been so bored at home wondering if there was any new news. Have to resort to using the internet cafe at shopping centre. ai..gotta put more coins in. ok that's better.

anyway she's recorded seven songs already?!! ahh!! wanna hear them haha i really wish they would tell us at least when we'll see her next so we dont have to keep waiting. i cant view that fancam here tho >< but thanks for posting and she knows piano and violin?! i wanna c her play ^^ If her next album relaly IS gonna be chinese i cant wait! but i think its too soon o.O she's already gonna start promomting in china?! i dunno how far she will get. I still think it would be better snging in korean more but i guess avex/sm knows better than me haha. But wow. that article makes her sound like she is going to be REALLY REALLY big. So many plans for her! and she's learning japanese? that's crazy. plus shes being trained for dancing, singing, chinese (accent), korean..she sounds like a super power machine hahaha.

vietblue99, thanks for the fancam link. Wow, there really is no news on LiYin. And SuJu's not going to release an album until March? I wonder why SM is postponing the release?

I think LiYin is going to release another Korean single. I think when she recorded the other 5 songs, they're all in Korean since that's the same time when she recorded Timeless and Y. And I think SM is postponing LiYin's debut in China/Taiwan, maybe they just need some more time to find a decent Chinese songwriter to write songs for her.

^ Nope, she was born in Sichuan, China. They have one of the strongest accent there. She moved to Korea when she was 13 to start her training.

Mhm she's in SMTown. Well she's friends with people in SM but I don't think she's as close as most of them are to one another. She didn't have any friends her first two years in Korea and the fact that she has a shy and timid personality. However everyone at SM is really supportive of her and takes good care of her from what I've seen so far. Also it's not like she can openly show how close she is to Super Junior and DBSK since their fans might get mad.

^ Ur a new fan huh? Well welcome to the thread. I'll try my best to answer most of your questions.

I think SM focused more on Korean than her Chinese. With her Chinese, they hired a Chinese broadcaster to help her get rid of her Sichuan accent. People say that they can understand her during her interviews but when she sings it's harder since she tends to slur the words to give it more of an R&B feel.

Why she didn't stay in China and be a singer there? I don't really have an answer for this but I'll try to answer it for you by giving a brief history. Keep in mind, there's still a bit of mystery when it comes to Ri In. SM hasn't released all the informations regarding her yet just a brief history and profile.

A couple years ago she competed in some Beijing Music Search thing where another Korean label - DR Music had attended and they signed her right away. Then Beijing officials alerted SM and they made negotiations with the DDR Music and SM got her. Lee Soo Man trained her himself to be the next big star of Asia. Lee Soo Man claimed her as the third leader of the Korean wave. I think she's way to big to just debut in Chinese markets alone. However SM has said that they will debut in her in Chinese markets some time this year.

Thanks for the pic. Yep it's like almost impossible to find anything on Ri In lately. I really like the picture. It shows the other side of Ri In. The short and delicate side that we don't often get to see on stage when she's performing unless they do an interview right afterwards. She looks really happy. I swear if I ever get a chance to go to South Korea the first place I'm going to is the SM building. * Note to self bring a friend who can speak Korean that way I can maneuvar around easier* On a sidenote, yah Ri In already has a fan whose willing to follow her around. Ok I know that sounds kinda bad but it's the only way we get to see any new pics of Ri In and it just shows how big her fanbase is getting.

It just makes sense if SM let her release something new since they're not promoting CJSH or Super Junior just yet. Also beacause they haven't released anything in Korea this month yet. Yep celebs in casual clothing are a most see. I love these kind of pics as well. It just shows how down to earth they are and how easy they are to approach when they're not on stage. On a sidenote, Ri In so tiny compared to I think that's her manager that's walking with her I could be wrong though.

On a sidenote, I'm so happy. Today is the last day of finals for me. I only have photo and anatomy left. Hehe I already took my photo one on Monday so now I have time to study for my anatomy during that class. See you all later! I'm going to be super happy once finals are over. Yeah that makes sense that Heaven wasn't one of the 7 songs recorded during the Timeless era. Her voice sounds like she practiced a lot in Heaven.

We don't know yet. SM never told us a date. LSM said sometime in 07 Ri In will have her first Chinese album. I think the the first half of the year.
