First of all, I don't understand why you are pissed at SM for...
As much as I like Jang Ri In, I think she's really lucky, and SM has done so much for her.
What more do you ask?

SM let Jang Ri In debut with a song that features a TVXQ member... Do you know how many girls in Korea can only dream of debuting that way? Let alone, get to perform with a TVXQ member on stage? As if that's not big enough, she has Lee Yeon Hee, Choi Shi Won and Han Gyung featured in her first music video.... how cool is that? That's three big stars featured in her music video... Even Boa didn't have any Fly to the Sky or Shinhwa members featured in any of her songs when she first started out.... Also, the Timeless MV costed big bucks, not only cuz of the stars featured in it, but it was a well made mv, it probably costed more than any of Suju's mv's. I wonder if SM even made any profit off Ri In yet, considering how much they spent on her...

Sure, Ri In didn't perform as much as we like, but that's not SM's fault. Because of her visa, she can only perform in two stations. Don't you think it would be pretty bias for MBC or SBS to have Jang Ri In come out in their music show, every week... there are a lot of new underground artists out there that think its a big accomplishment to even get a chance to perform in a music show once in their life.

Right now, I bet you anything that Jang Ri In is busy as hell trying to learn Korean, Japanese and Mandrin fluently, plus she also has to prepare for debuting in all these different countries. You also should NOT compare her schedule with Boa's schedule, because Boa is already a professional singer. Jang Ri In is still in the process of training even though she may have debuted.... so I say be patient everyone! SM is planning on spending big bucks... I mean real big bucks to make Jang Ri In, the next Asian Sensation a.k.a "Chinese Boa"... So I don't think you have to worry about her being neglected by SM.

Sorry I didn't mean to offend anyone. It's just a in the moment thing. I'm just frustrated that I can't find any news today. I agree with all your points. Ok sorry I'm just kinda missing Ri In that's all. I'm not really mad at SM. I have these phases that I go through in one day and my earlier post was just something in the moment. I regret posting it now. SM is actually my favorite Korean label. Hehe sorry once again. Yep I should stop comparing Ri In with BoA and so should the rest of us. Mhm I agree that both Timless Mvs cost a lot to make and Y probably did too since didn't they hire some famous director for it.

Oh vietblue99, no need to apologize. You're just a devoted fan that's all and I think LiYin's very lucky to have a devoted fan like you. I wish I could be more devoted like you... Anyway, I'm pretty sure SM is keeping LiYin busy with something...umm...probably she's recording a new single/album. We also must remember she still goes to high school, it's not like she goes to college and can take however many courses she likes.

Bethany: Thanks! Yah I know Ri In is one busy girl. It's her last year of high school and then there's the pressure of getting into college and going through the whole process of it before she finds out which college she got into. That's a hard life and for any normal girl but with Ri In on top of all this she just started her entertainment career not so long ago. There's so much that she has to do. Not only does she have to go to school and get good grades but she also has to be the next Asian singing sensation and the fact that she's so far away from home as well. I have no idea how she does it all. If it were me, I probably would have gone crazy and gone into isolation by now. Actually I wonder how any of them does it - basically balancing school and their singing careers.

but there's another newcomer called Evan Yo who can play both the piano and the violin..
he's quite cute in a dorky and shy way..and talented because he composed all the songs in his first album.. and he's 20 this year..

he plays the violin really well..as what my friend told me..I've watched a clip of him playing the piano but I'm not the musically-inclined kind of person so I have no idea..

Actually since Singapore is a multi-racial country mixed marriages seem to be quite the norm.. but well, from personal experience, when my cousin (we're Chinese) told my Grandmother that she's dating an Indian and they are considering marriage my Grandmother went nuts and threw her out of the house..right in front of me so it's still vivid.. but everything's well now and everyone dotes on my cousin's son (Chindian.. as we always call them but I hope it's not a racial slur..sorry if it offends)..I'm not sure about the Koreans but for the Chinese it's more of the older generation I guess (but only for Singapore..I'm not sure about China)..but is it true that Koreans in South Korea don't like the Chinese residing there? I've heard from my friend's Korean friends that they like to befriend Chinese friends from overseas but not those residing in Korea..Just a question.. not trying to be racist or trying to promote racism or something..
If I were to pick, I'll marry a Chinese, most probably a Singaporean (despite many saying that they are unromantic or a little wimpy) because they are really good at housework and they are willing to help out with it..haha..and for communication's sakes..

I know right. She looks good with most of DBSK and Super Junior. It doesn't even bug me that she does either. I'm happy that she has the whole SM family supporting her a 100% of the way.

Omg I'm freaking out right now. They updated her schedule on her site. She's performing this upcoming Sunday on SBS Inkigayo! Finally some new Ri In news! Hehe this just made my day. I was just walling away yesterday and now I'm so happy! I remember someone saying that Ri In promotions are on and off and you're right! Hehe this is a good thing. We get to see her again. I wonder what song she's going to sing though.

Lol .. I find it funny how people are introducing Taiwanese/Chinese guys in here and seeing who Ri In looks good with who. Not saying it's a bad thing, I just find it funny. This thread grows like a page or two each day even if there's no news on her. I don't know much thread around here that's as active as this without news, pictures, performances, etc. Hehe ..
