v Yea I know what you mean, she stretches her notes out so the words sound weird. Sadly I understood more of Junsu's Chinese than her's on the first listen. I don't think it's her pronounciation though, just the way she sings them because the lyrics don't fit the song melodically too well. I really didn't like the Chinese version in comparison to the Korean :x

msjang yeah, when i first heard timeless chinese..i asked myself "mm why does her chinese sound kinda weird..not native"..then i found out that she came from SI CHUAN..so yeah...cuz SI CHUAN people have their own language/dialect...which dont really sounds like mandarn chinese...so yeah, she doesn't have thick Beijin accent like Hankyung~

I think its pretty impressive that she started to learn Korean at age 13, and can pronounce Korean words as well as she does. She is like my motivation for learning more Korean and to pronounce it more like the natives.

but she pronounced it as dduh na GAE ma ra yo.

if she says gae, it doesn't make sense gramatically, but I thought it was cute tho^^ She is trying her best!!! You can tell!!!

I think her voice was shaky because of the way she sing the song. If she sing it like uhmm...just normal without forcing the vibrato and all, it will be better. She's taking big risk.

I am addicted to Y too...Its so good. I play it over and over. I was going through another forum where they compared BoA and JRI again. They were like BoA is like Britney and pop while JRi is Christina and R&B. I just thought that was interesting. The reason her Chinese is wierd is because I don't think you can sing the genre R&B in chinese. Chinese is one of those languages where the tones in cut and dry and you can't really drag the syllables out. Timeless chi also sounds different because of her native accent.
