I know she was discovered by a company in Beijing, but did she come from Beijing?
Also, does anyone have the Chinese lyrics, original ones, not rominized lyrics?
I looked in the lyrics section, but all I see are the rominized ones....

I didn't save the traditional version when it was on her site, so I have simplified:
TIMELESS (中文版)
歌手: 张力尹
我不愿意 听你说放弃
累的心 仿佛失去全部力气
多想可以 继续拥抱你
让爱情 用微笑一路走下去
Timeless
Hold tight, baby
Timeless
we both agree.
This is timeless love..
Timeless
Hold tight, baby
Timeless
we both agree.
This is timeless love..
yeah...baby It's timeless..oh baby It's timeless
Timeless
we both agree.
This is timeless love..

v Yea I know what you mean, she stretches her notes out so the words sound weird. Sadly I understood more of Junsu's Chinese than her's on the first listen. I don't think it's her pronounciation though, just the way she sings them because the lyrics don't fit the song melodically too well. I really didn't like the Chinese version in comparison to the Korean :x

Its weird, I am fluent in Chinese, but I can't understand what she is singing?
hahaa....if that makes sense
She emphasizes on ee sound a lot when singing the Chinese lyrics, she seems to drag it out and make it sound "flat"...haha
From the way she's pronouncing the Chinese lyrics, I really wonder what part of China she is from

msjang yeah, when i first heard timeless chinese..i asked myself "mm why does her chinese sound kinda weird..not native"..then i found out that she came from SI CHUAN..so yeah...cuz SI CHUAN people have their own language/dialect...which dont really sounds like mandarn chinese...so yeah, she doesn't have thick Beijin accent like Hankyung~

Can I call you lulu?
Hehe...
So....she is from Si Chuan? Wow, thats pretty cool.
I am bad at the geography of China, gotta ask my mom when i go home this weekend....HAHA
I think its pretty impressive that she started to learn Korean at age 13, and can pronounce Korean words as well as she does. She is like my motivation for learning more Korean and to pronounce it more like the natives.
On her performance on inkigayo ---
Did anyone notice that she pronounced one part wrong?
It is supposed to be dduh na JI ma ra yo.
but she pronounced it as dduh na GAE ma ra yo.
if she says gae, it doesn't make sense gramatically, but I thought it was cute tho^^ She is trying her best!!! You can tell!!!
*edit*
thats weird, I just checked the musiccore perf., and the lyrics on the tv screen is dduh na gae ma ra yo. while on the inkigayo screen is dduh na ji ma ra yo. I never heard of gae in that pattern b4, I am going to ask in the korean thread

Si Chuan is next to Tibet, I think.
And I agree that her Chinese in Timeless is incomprehensible, but I think it's due to the lyrics (who wrote it!!) rather than her actual pronounciation.. I've seen her interview video on SM's webpage and she can speak Chinese quite well. I heard SM worked hard to get rid of her Si Chuan accent.
