so far my junior schedule is looking liek this
0. Precalc
1. AP Eng/Language
2. AP Japanese
3. Honors Physics
4. AP US History
5. BLANK
6. Varsity Tennis

so i was wondering since my 5th period is blank, should i add in Spanish 1?
i mean i knw my schedule already is pretty tough as i am in key club and red cross, but do u think UCLA or UCB would like to see the addition of Spanish 1? or would they careless?

Have you already completed 3 years of any foreign language classes?

I think it's highly recommended that you do that for UC's

But if you have already completed another language, it would be nice to take Spanish if you have absolutely nothing else to take.

edit:::: ohhh, i just saw your Japanese class, forget what i said, lol

I did a double language for a year. So now I have French 3 and I have 2 years of Spanish. Colleges like seeing you take two languages, but if you don't plan on sticking to it, then don't. It'll only show that you're not 'loyal' to it. (sorry, can't think of a better word)
To be great is to be misunderstood.

If you take Spanish, I think it will be better if you stay consistent and take it senior year too. Otherwise, maybe you can be a T.A. or something for that period.

I'd say don't do it unless you plan on doing something with languages in college. Why don't you take another course, like AP Statistics?

wow gees~~
your schedule seems very very challenging.. but there's also something called a limit, for yourself. can you handle it?
you know you have to also consider SATs as a huge part of your junior year.. I think you're set =) you have a solid base.. especially since u have AP Japanese. This is just my opinion.. but don't overload it~ you seem fine as it is..
baby,

It's nice to hear that you know how much you can handle. I hate it when students whine about their schedules when they're the ones who decide what goes on there.

Have you taken art yet by any chance? I took art my junior year. It was a really relaxing class for me--it also gave me a period to study/finish homework for AP Environmental Sci sweatingbullets.gif

So many ap classes. you sure you can take all of that? I can't even stand AP US HISTORY. <.< For the blank, I think it's mostly a free class but if you want spanish, then go for it. I don't know much about the college that you want to go.
