object dock really does make your pc slow. i don't use it for that reason.

After much researching and thanks to this lovely thread I did a little cleaning and changed my wallpaper and am now testing out window blinds. The other stuff with the patches seemed a bit too complex for me at the moment. I'll probably end up doing the patches later once my free try period is over, though I'm bit nervous about the patches since it is a bit too techy to me. I really don't want to screw up my computer.

the wallpaper is in widescreen format since my computer's resolution is 1920 x 1200, so if u don't crop it or make it smaller, it might look weird on ur computer (i'm assuming that ur resolution isn't 1920 x 1200, but if it is, you can probably use it as it is). YOu can use photoshop to customize it, but you can probably also use this free software called GIMP or any image editing software.
