I was wondering how someone gets into being an manager in the entertainment industry
like I dont wanna do the singing or acting etc but the behind the scenes people u know

the producers
managers
etc

im so clueless. how do these people get so popular enuff to manage popular celebrities?

is it basically connections?

I think you have to do a music management, my next door neighbour is doing music management at uni and she wants to become a band manager/behind the scenes sorta person...

hmm, i reckon a marketing degree would be helpful as well as you're basically marketing your artist/s. Of course, it does help to have connections as it'll get your foot in the door. Otherwise, it's a competitive industry.
