What do you feel best describes the qualities of an AP student? Or what makes you an AP student? Is it the grades? Is your definition of an AP student someone who is in an AP class? but then, how did you get into that class? What gave you that drive to keep on studying?

I'm just curious.
I was asking my senior friends about this. and they said 'it's 'cause you're asian' ahaha :P but they were joking. so I didn't take it seriously.

Hmm, for me, it's depends on the school
Some schools limit their AP classes so that students need to work very hard and go through an application process to get into the class. I would call them advanced students.
But on the other hand, other schools let anyone in a AP class as long as they apply, so that promotes people who just jam AP's into their schedule. I term those people as regular students

For my school, you register for the AP classes you want to take and you have to complete the summer hw for it to get in the class during the year...
To be great is to be misunderstood.

I don't think there's an actual fix definition for Advance Placement. It seems to me that an Advanced Placement student is simply a student placed in the Advanced Placement program/class offered by CollegeBoard, which then the Student has certain criterias he/she must follow or the consequence is failing the AP test.

The reason why i take AP classes so i can pass the exam and get ahead on college. If i pass english AP i don't have to take one year of english (in some cases) but yeah...that is why i'm taking APs classes. Plus, it keeps me occupy and i don't mind the work. Plus, it gives you a boost into the world of college. lol =)
