Team Hoyt has inspired thousands of people that anything is possible and you should never give up. They have became heros. A father and son duo that never gives up.

Team Hoyt is a team consisting of Dick and Rick Hoyt. They are father and son. Rick was born disabled and Dick has proven that nothing is impossible. He was told by doctors when his son was born that they rather just leave him because he will be a vegetable for his life but Rick said he will raise this kid to be as normal as he can.

Rick cannot move or speak but he has a brain far more powerful then people see in him. He uses a machine where he moves his head a little to select letters from his screen.

Team Hoyt has been in over hundreds of Marathons together and have been since 25-30 years ago. When Dick took Rick to his first marathon. After the marathon was over, Rick said he felt like he was not disabled anymore because of the marathon which persuaded Dick to continue. Dick is now 65 years old and he is not quitting because he wants his son to be happy.

Rick said his 1 wish is to have his dad sit in a chair while he pushes him cross the finish line.

Here is a tribute to them
