aight i'm pretty sure there are hold em fans like me in here cause ever since the hold em boom there has been an increase of players. No one knew about hold em back then until the travel channel started showin it. Im not too hardcore or too addicted like some people but i play 10-20 dollar tourneys with my friends at least once a weak or i sometimes go online to play. But yo this game can be hella fun especially when youre winnin. But if youre playin for real money dang careful with your money management. I know some friends who lost 500 plus dollars in a week online. And I knew a hyung who lost $10,000 on party poker.
you know the rules:
Royal Flush > Straight Flush> Four of a King>Full House>Flush>Straight>Three of a Kind>Two Pairs>Pair
player can either call, check, raise, or fold. Three cards is dealt face up first called the flop, next card is the turn, and the last card is the river. And the player uses his/her two cards to make the best possible combination with the flop.
Online poker sites:PartyPoker,Full tilt Poker, Poker Stars, and more. But I think those three are the top ones.

I love Texas Hold 'Em! Only kind of poker I bothered remembering how to play.

I've never bet any actual money though... Have a decent set of chips and stuff though. Sure beats playing with pennies like I used to do... lmao XDDD

But yeah, I'm not like an expert or anything so as far as bluffing and all that stuff goes my technique basically consists of doing what seems like a good move and hoping it works out. <<;;;

haha I love the game when there's a lot of people playing..we don't play with money but my friends and cousins have fake chips so we play with them..and whoever loses we have to do something ..so ya..lol I tried going all in several times and failed

If you got two aces, would you slow play em and try get more chips or just be aggressive pre flop and hope to get one opponent call it. Dang I always lose with aces when I slow play em cause more opponents will limp in, my opponent gets some bs card at the river. I just go all in pre flop with aces, screw slow playin with two aces

u've juss got to make some good decisions.. good folds.. and some exceptional reads on ur players.. amateurs always play the same way like my friends.. altho pocket rockets may seem nice, they aren't always all that.. 2 times i remember i got caught because i didn't bet high enough to force the opponent to fold.. connectors are best to beat pockets

Texas Hold 'Em is fun. I usually play with chips. I think I've only played with money once.

And we played with crackers onces too. haha xD

I usually own my friends. Bluffing is the funnest part of Poker. haha

I LOVE this game.

Most of the time, I win.. but of course, I get over-confident and lose.

I haven't played for real money yet because I want to perfect my techniques first, but for sure.. this is one of the most addicting games in the whole world!

i played home games like everyday/every other day through the summer....cash games..buy in was like 50.. played .50/1 blinds... before this i was only into tournys then saw the money was in the cash games.
