Korea based music and artist management agency JYP Entertainment (JYPE), home of world famous singers “Rain” or “Bi” and J.Y. Park, is searching for a Chinese version of “Rain.” JYPE is “looking for fresh faces from the next generation,” in the hopes of “finding the undiscovered talent within those special people.”

The JYPE audition, presented by AOL, may be the launching pad for your career. If any performers pass the final audition, JYPE may decide to represent one or more of these gifted individuals. If chosen, the lucky talent(s) will receive a trip to Korea, guidance and training from seasoned professionals, grooming, and a final launch into Asian pop artist stardom! However, if performers aren’t quite up to par, then their chances of getting signed on with JYPE will be slim. But, at the very least, one winner will walk away with a $1000 cash prize. And, that ain’t bad for one day’s work.

The top selected performers will receive a great deal of publicity and air time as they will appear on several entertainment mediums such as LA 18’s “LA Living” and AOL’s Chinese website “Chinese.aol.com.” And, they will have the opportunity to perform in front of thousands during LA 18’s annual Harvest Moon Festival.

JYPE boasts a selective and impressive range of talents. And, they want to continue building their quality clientele by discovering the next “Rain.” In 2006, Time Magazine named “Rain” as the world’s second most influential entertainer. Question is – are you good enough to be number one?

Singers: MR CD (AR CD for dance)
Actors/VJ/Emcee: 30 second – 1 min. script
Models: Posing and Walking
　

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
a. No purchase necessary to participate. No registration fees or costs. b. Must be 11 – 24 years old c. Participants under the age of 18 need permission of guardian.

FINAL AUDITION
1. Date & Location:
October 1, 2006, approximately 2:20-3:20pm
LA18, Harvest Moon Festival, at Arcadia County Park, Arcadia, CA
2. How to enter: Those who pass the JYPE Pre-Audition on Sept. 23rd will be notified by telephone or e-mail by JYPE personnel.
3. Results will be also posted on www.la18.tv, chinese.aol.com and www.jype.com/audition.town. These “finalists” will be asked to perform on the Harvest Moon Festival main stage on October 1st. There is no audition fee.
