how would you prepare for the SATIIs?
I know most schools i want to apply to require two subject tests but they don't specify which..
any advice?

i can be sure that one of those subject tests has to be a foreign language test. Heck, i'd just do the math level two, a foreign language test and one from science.

i took math and bio and i was fine.

i think it's better if you have 2 tests frm different general subjects.. like one math/science and one english/history. and then one other if the school requires 3.

I'm planning to take the BIO, MATH II & CHINESE next year.... cuz i am taking AP BIO and AP CALC... there's just NO WAY i am gonna take a HISTORY/ENGLISH.. i will probablly FAIL miserably...

take whichever subject you are strongest at. usually it's muuuuuch better to take math 2 and then whatever one...umm just make sure you know everything in that subject....get some books...i guess u can get a tutor if u want or take a class

i think i'm going to take the Bio and Math one since i'm taking both AP Bio and AP Calc this year.. but are there any books you would really recommend? thanks!

well, i didn't really do any seperate preparing because i took mine right after the aps. it was hell studying for aps AND having my mom nag about sat 2s but hey, killed two birds with one stone.

i bought a bunch of sat prep books (mainly princeton) for the sat 2 but i never used any. what a waste.

one thing that i didn't prepare enough for was the timing of the sat 2s. i don't remember the exact times (i took chem, korean, math) but the test went by really freaking quickly. there are more questions than minutes you have so pace yourself

if there's any suggestions i'd give, it'd be practice some tests and familiarize yourself with the setup/format of the test. it is different from the sat 1s. oh yea, also, there were a bunch of people where i took the test who bubbled in the wrong section. honestly i don't know how you could do that but hey, it happened and they had to cancel.
