...first of all, i would like to THANK YOU for taking the TIME and PATIENCE for helping me out with this...

i am currently a JUNIOR... and i want to take the SAT I before the end of 2006 to get it over with... BUTTTTT... i also plan on taking the PSAT in October, so my question is:

1) When does the results for the PSAT come back? i read on collegeboard that it comes back in December... but i NEED to be DONE with the SATs by then...

2) is it a good idea to take the SAT I before the PSAT? quitely frankly, i am only taking the PSAT for a chance @ that scholarship... buttt... does the PSAT help/impact/effect my SAT score alot?!

3) When is it safe to take the SAT for a second time? i want to take the 1st one beginning of November... and the 2nd one in December... would one month help me improve my score?


... again.. if you had ANY experience, please share some advice....thank youu soo much if you can help...

1) oh jeeez i took them so long ago XD but im pretty sure they come back mid-december...pretty sure!!!!!!!
2)your PSAT....doesnt impact ur sat score...at all.......... =/ it can show u like....maybe where your standings are but thats it. colleges wont see it....just lets u know where u r
3)well since you're not supposed to take the SATs a lot (unlike me ) u should take the second one after december....unless you did really well the first time and think u can do even better...good enough that u dont need to take it anymore, then thats fine.....but yea. if u need improvement, study for maybe couple of months then take it again

if you're prolly ranked as one of the top psat test takers, you'll get a chance to go to...oxford in the summertime! (or some other university), sure, colleges won't see your psat scores, but, you can tell them bout the OXFORD experience!

1. psat scores take a while b/c they go to ur school first then to you...why do u need it so urgently? o_O i mean u can take the sat in november after u'v taken the psat...u dun hafta wait til the score goes to your house...
2. it doesn't really matter...i mean sure the psat gives u an idea of how it's like and your score range, but it really doesnt matter which one u take first
3. u should probably wait a while before taking it again so u can study more? unless u think u wont study and will forget everything, then take it soon after
