Anne Hathaway is going to star in Becoming Jane. (Natalie Portman, Keira Knightley, and Kate Winslet were also considered for the role, but Anne Hathaway landed it in the end).

Plot Outline: A biographical portrait of a pre-fame Jane Austen and her romance with a young Irishman.
"Becoming Jane" centers on a love affair British novelist Jane Austen (Hathaway) began as a 20-year-old -- with brilliant, roguish Irishman Tom Lefroy -- that inspired her career as one of the world's great romantic writers. The movie also looks at how the writer's relationship with Lefroy helped create the male characters in "Pride & Prejudice."

^ All I can think about when I was watching the trailer was how similar it is to Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley. I mean, I know Jane Austen wrote it, but they didn't have to be so similar. All the settings are ridiculously alike.

It looks soooooooooooo good!!!

The only thing that bothers me is, I read up on Jane Austen's life, and most of the things in the movie are all made up. The guy was real and everything, but all they did was flirt.. it wasn't like a heavy love affair.
But some do say that she may have created the character of Mr. Darcy based on him.

"What is she doing?!"
".. Writing.."
".. Can anything be done about it?!"
Haha, that was funny to me.

She looks soooo gorgeous in those pics.

I personally think she looks better in these historical kind of roles, in those high-waist dresses, than in modern-day movies.

wow, this looks like... the keira knightley version of pride and prejudice part two. i recognize the little women soundtrack on the trailer...

then again, i loved that movie and i like anne hathaway so... i'll wait for the reviews to come out. if they're good, i'll go see it.

i think anne hathaway should do more british period pieces, because it seems like she can pull off the accent. she could play her namesake haha

HORRAAAYY!! A new movie for Anne Hathaway!! I just loved Anne! She's get gorgeous every time I saw her. Hopefully she could star in a series or something.
