hey guys, my cable internet connection (comcast) just acted weird 2 days ago. It became like real slow. Anyways i did a online speed test and the result was bad. Here's the pic:


Does anyone know how i can fix it? i tried renewing my ip, win sock fix, and power cycling. It still has slow speeds. I also checked my wires and they are fine. If i reformat my comp, will it fix it?

Reformatting shouldn't make a difference. From the looks of it, its most likely your ISP's problem. Either someone around you is REALLY REALLY using the internet and slowing everyone down, you exceeded the cable company's download limit (some for example limit you to 60gb a month), or it might be wire problems.
Especially with that low QOS and the high pings I would say the best bet is to call the company up and ask what the hekc is going on.

thanks awdark. Still really slow even though im the only one using it. Whats weird is when i reset my modem the speed is fine but after like 2min it drops back to the speed in the pic and the modem would reset itself every 15 min or so.
