the screen doesnt show up when turned on & the lens that comes out when you turn on the camera seems to be stuck. i bought my camera at circuit city only 9 months ago (its a casio exilim). anyone who's camera ever broke, do you know if i can take it back to the store and they can fix it for me? or do i have to ask and send it to the manufactuer to get it fixed? if anyone can help me out, that would be great. thank you

Did you get some warranty stuff from circuit city?

Because if not, they will probably just say you went past the return period. And you would have to hope for warranty. If thats the case, then go and contact casio support. Call or email type thing and see how long your warranty lasts and what they can do about it. I would hope you would at least have a year of warranty and since you didn't actually break it they should be nice. (you didn't break it as in drop, get moist or otherwise screw it up yourself)

thanks for the info. im pretty sure there is a one year warranty on the camera. i just have to find the box with all the info in it or check online. and yeah, good thing i didnt drop it or damage it myself! thanks again.
