I know there's a Soompi Fantasy Football league and its full and already drafted, but I've never tried a keeper league before. Is anyone interested in making a fantasy football keeper league with 10-12 players? Since the first game is tommorow, if we can get enough people, we can have the draft tonight or start a week later instead. If you don't know what a keeper league is its where the same players come back the next season and get to keep a certain specified number of their players from last season.

no. you just need to return the next season and tell which of your players you want to keep. you usually get to keep 1 or 2 players. meaning no one can draft them and you get those players no matter what pick you get in the new season. you dont need to pay for any type of leagues. the paying is just something people add if they want to put money on the line.

I played keeper league at Sandbox. But in my experience, keeper league is only good for baseball because of the much larger roster size (I mean fantasy starting lineup) and also the talent level drop off slower in later rounds of drafts. Even if you draft poorly this year, you can recover next year. It is a lot more difficult to improve your team in football, basketball, and hockey if you don't have good keepers year in and year out, and drafting poorly in the initial draft. That's why in Sandbox everyone is signing up for keeper leagues, and less than half of the owners are willing to come back the next year.
Just my 2 cents.

Yeah I can see that happening but I still want to try it out. Because its also possible you end up getting some nice sleepers like whoever picked Larry Johnson last year and was in a keeper league. I just want to try it out.
