Okay so I just started school 2 days ago & I have a question to ask you guys<3333333333

SO I am a senior this year [GO CLASS OF OH SEVEN!!] & I wanted to take AP chemistry this year. I want to get into the medical field in college and I reallllllllly wanted to take AP chem this year. I was in preAPchem last year because I was new to the school & i didnt know we were allowed to take AP chem as juniors BUT anyway; however because of schedule issues I wasnt able to fit AP chem into my schedule SO I decided to take AP physics. BUT because I decided to take AP physics i had to take Concert choir out.. I was in choir for three years and this would be my fourth year in choir & my first year in concert choir so im REALLY bummed out about it. I went to APphysics for two days and I feel like "wtf am i doing in here" First of all.. i dont really want to take it. secondly i want to be in choir. The only reason im in it is because... welll because i ASSUME colleges will want four years of science especially for pharmacy..medical field. BUT i really want to do choir So my point..okay so my question from this big paragraph IS


DO YOU THINK ITS OKAY IF I TAKE THREE YEARS OF SCIENCE AND TAKE CONCERT CHOIR INSTEAD OF AP PHYSICS. [ i realized theres a topic similar to this but anyway ]

yeah i know AP physics would probably look good on your transcript but i also heard four years of music is a big plus too

so yeah i kinda need help there


because im also taking 3 other AP classes.. i took 3 last year & i have a full schedule.. i mean im not slacking off...> _ < i dont want colleges to think "oh she totally blew it senior year" koshhhhhh

but yeah help. suggestions. comments. concerns. HAHA i have to change byy next week. so yeah.

ummmm i have another question;

what schools have goood medical/pharmacy field study. O_O likeeee i really want to get into a couple schools but i dont even know if they have what i want to major in hahaha so. thankkkkks

If you are planning on attending a university specializing in engineering and sciences, taking physics might be the right thing to do. On the other hand, my advice is to take whatever you want. I don't believe there are any setbacks to pursuing another interest simply because physics can't fit in the picture.

I agree with Voltage on this, though AP Physics might look better on your transcript because you're pursuing a career in sciences, a four year dedication to choir isnt too shabby either. In fact, since you say you already have a tough schedule with 3 other APs this year, it might be a bad idea to force yourself into a class which you don't enjoy and may end up with a so so grade instead of the one you really want. I would recommend choir, so you get the A, you're happy, plus you can devote more time to your other APs.
