oooh my god. well im a junior and I haven't taken my SATs yet. I'm planning to prepare really well for it during the course of this year and take it in may 2007. I wanna be able to retake it in my senior year if I'm not happy with my scores. that will probably be around october of 2007 or whenever the earliest date is for that year. however, my friend kept telling me that it'll be too late to take it around that time because you won't be able to get your scores soon enough to apply for colleges? wth? I dunno. should I just take it in march and retake it in may? or go with my original plan?

it kinda depends on which colleges u r applying to. im doin some of the UCs and they allow u to take the SATs in december so later collegeboard will just send the scores to the colleges. u should just check the colleges u r applying to. like stanford, early decision is november-ish so u cant take the december one, obviously

if you're a jr, save the may or june SAT test for the SATIIs. that way all the info from your AP classes are fresh in your mind and you'll kill the test easily
don't be like me and take them in november... and be completely out of it. lol

yea, i'd recommend taking ur SAT II's in may also.. last year, the date for the SAT II was the very day after my APUSH exam. you should take them as early as possible though. i wasnt very satisfied with either my SAT or SAT II scores and i started in april.. now im trying to cram them both in for october and november, which is kind of on the edge.. you dont wanna be scrambling around with juggling SAT's and college apps on top of extracurrics and school during ur senior year. it's not fun.

I'm a junior too and I haven't taken my SATs, so don't worry--I'm in the same boat as you!
I've been studying like crazy, I think I am going to take it sometime this winter.
And like people have said before, May/June is for our SAT II's!
