For those that don't know, she's not like any other J-pop musician. She plays the ukulele and uses only Japanese in her songs (no English), and her music is quite cheery and mellow.

I first heard her when watching the movie, The Cat Returns. She sang the theme song for that movie, 風になる (Kaze ni naru). After hearing that song, I immediately went online to find her other albums, and I'm really enjoying her music. I always feel good after listening to her albums; they cheer me up. Heh. Someone created a Myspace page for her featuring Kaze ni naru here.
