Can Reggie Bush Become A Marshal Faulk...... in his prime of course.

I was watching some Marshal Faulk highlights and was thinking that there is no one in the league like him. Then I thought about the rookie Reggie Bush. I'm not comparing the two, but want to know what ppl think about him having a Marshal Faulk kind of game. I mean MF was so shifty and has some insane control. Able to break tackles and make find wholes in the defensive line that other couldn't and can't do know. So, creative and just an amazing player to watch.
So could Reggie be the next MF.
Nothing to due with RB's but I'm so disappointed with Michael Vick. His athletic ability to run, but lack of accuracy just sucks. You know how sick he would be if he had vision like a Peyton Manning or decision making like a Tom Brady. He would be so dangerous. I'm starting to lose faith.

Reggie Bush is an unreal talent. He can catch out of the backfield, make people miss, line up at WR just like Faulk. But Faulk was an everydown back. Reggie Bush still has to prove that he can be relied on to run in-between tackles without getting his ass kicked in. Marshall Faulk didn't really become Marshall Faulk until he was traded to the Rams. In his prime Faulk said that when he use to run in the middle of heavy traffic, everything was blurry to him, except for the green grass/turf. That was how he would weave and bob around the defenses. Bush is like Brian Westbrook version 3.0, his hands are better than 95% of the recievers in the NFL already.
Reggie Bush has a chance to be even better than Marshall Faulk, but only time will tell.
One thing I really don't like about Reggie is that he's acting like a primadona already and I hope he gets humbled real quick.

Reggie Bush is hella overrated, he got that fame thanks to USCs great o-line. Lmao with the Saints o-line, Bush is going nowhere. The closest player to Faulk is probably nobody yet.
i thought getting ~120 yards in receiving/rushing was a pretty good feat considering all that the saints are lacking in its offense.
i think that's a great start and hopefully a sign of great things to come. the only thing he could've done more was perhaps a long breakaway run that lead to a touchdown...

First off, I feel that Marshal Faulk is the best versatile of all time.
I was watching some Marshal Faulk highlights and was thinking that there is no one in the league like him. Then I thought about the rookie Reggie Bush. similar style
but marshall faulk is too good..and you can't really judge after one game..but now that i think about it, bush does improve the saints' offense as a whole...
and you're saing you're disappointe dwith vick after his 2td performance? and he was back to himself with his making plays with his feet...michael jenks was a beast this game..
totally ripped apart "one of the best defenses in the nfl"
the saints lack in ALOT of things..the defense is total trash..losing lecharles bentley, and an old, hurt horn, trading stallworth, a young/quick receiver who is coming off a career year and can only get better as horn fades away...getting rid of brooks, a good deep thrower (but putting in brees makes up for it) only hurts their team

Reggie Bush > Marshall Faulk IMO. If you saw any of his practice sessions you will notice the guy has hands like a WR and the agility/speed of Barry Sanders. He can juke, spin, hurdle, stop on a dime and change directions better than any back I've yet to see.
that's alot of credit to give someone that's only played two NFL games, wait until Adrian Peterson (AD) gets into the league

I believe Bush will improve since he knows the entire rushing game is not placed on his entire back. Heisman or not, if your a rookie and you got the entire running game on your back the pressure gets to you to succeed. Also, his ability to catch willl boost his career as well.

Its not credit, its facts. Credit would be saying "for all he did he should get the MVP award" or something. Fact is, he's damn fast and has amazing agility/acceleration.

i think he's proved that he can be a big time impact player...IN HIS FIRST YEAR. In fact, the doubters that said that Matt Leinart, Vince Young, and Reggie Bush couldn't be successful in the NFL. All Vince did was rush for a TD, all Matt did is throw 2 tds in his first start, and all Bush is doing is leading the entire NFL in receptions, and ran a 65 return for a game winning TD.

Apparent Bush is going somewhere even with a crappy O-line.
I think he's showing more progress than Reggie Brown.
