I usually charge my iTouch when the battery is at 10%. I heard the thing where if you charge your ipod too much when the battery isn't that low that it shortens the battery life. My alarm clock has an ipod dock so I just stick it in to charge before I go to bed, because my ipod is with me 24/7. xD

no I meant I used 3gp converter to convert my videos to mp4.. here's a tutorial.. if you convert using 3gp converter it'll automatically put it in the movies library on iTunes and then you can just transfer from there.. hope that cleared it up more..

when i got the Nano, i immediately plugged it into my computer and there wasn't any problem at all; not until i need to recharge it again. so i plugged it into my sister's laptop (OS is windows vista) and there was a message box that says something like the files in my iPod were corrupted, etc. i then noticed that it hanged (got stuck). i tried turning it off or holding the menu & center button at the same time but nothing happened. after awhile, i noticed that it's turned itself off probably because the battery died down. i then plugged it into my own computer (OS is windows xp) and it recharged like before.
to sum it up, the iPod will only recharge normally in my computer and not on the others. then after what happened (when i plugged it into a windows vista computer) with my sister's laptop, the iPod would always hang most often when the battery left is about 20%-10%.
a friend suggested that maybe it only recognizes window's xp but i doubt 'coz i have tried plugging it into my own laptop (also a windows vista but i dont have iTunes installed there, only in my other computer -the one where my iPod would "act" normally when plugged) and it got stuck up too.
does having different OS affects gadgets like mp3 players? i have tried asking around in a local Apple dealer and they told me that maybe my nano's software is just way "too latest" (whatever that means) that's why it's acting like that. so if that's the case, do i need to upgrade my computer as well?
gaaah! sorry for a very 'kilometric' entry but it's just so frustrating. i'm suppposed to be enjoying my mp3 player but everytime i use it, all i think about was "please don't get stuck again..." as if im reciting some tribal mantra.
