1. download the file here(you just need the music converter)
2. install
3. click one the program and choose the mp3 file that you can't play on your ipod
4. then choose the following
-Converting to : mp3 (Lame)
-Target: Bit Rate (CBR)
-Constant Bit Rate : move the slider to the max (320 kbps)
5. then click convert
6. remember to choose where you want the file to go and TA DA! it should work after that
but the only problem here is the dBpoweramp is only a trial program so it's limited but hope it help you guys temporarily

such as movie thumbnails and album artworks? shows up perfectly fine on itunes

some of my songs just doesn't play on my ipod, but it play on my itune! how weird..
my cousin said i have to convert the file... but i don't know how!
can someone help please!!
another way is too
- get foobar2000
- get the lame.exe
- extract it with 7zip, and place the lame.exe in like your music folder
- right click on the song when you view the song in foobar, and hover convert and click on ...
- select output to MP3(LAME)
- it ask where to put the file
- then it'll ask you for where lame.exe is located.
- DONE!

i think your MVs are just put in the movies section. if your MVs are in the movies section and you want them to be in the MVs section, you go to get into then options then select your media kind as Music Video.
try restoring it.

can someone tell me how easily the new ipod nano gets scratched?
because the 1st gen. would get sctrached really easily :/
i remember mine got thin streaks on the screen from taking it in and out of the case.
plus since i wanna get the yellow one for it's color, i don't want to put a case on it since it'll just hide te color...
would it get streaks on the screen if i kept it in one of those socks and i take it in and out of the sock?

I'm sure a lot of you have had this problem...
I have an iPod Nano, and I tried syncing a video to it, but everytime I do it, the video does not come in the iPod.
There's no notification like "video cannot be synced because" bla bla, it just wouldn't be there when I looked for it.
I've never had this problem before, and basically the only difference between this video and the ones I've put before, is that this a bit bigger than them in file-size. But not much either, it's just 46 MB (so I know it's not a problem with the converting)
Hope you can help, thank you~

I'm currently using the latest ver of itunes.
And recently i noticed that my mp3 files coverted to an AAC will be much much larger or twice the size of my mp3 file.
Previously with older versions of itunes, i had no problems watsoever.
Anyone knows why? Thanks in advance
edit: problem solved!

are you sure it's not on Repeat 1?
On your music player screen, tap the middle of the screen
You should see the time bar thingy and under it on the left theres a Cycle icon.
If you see the number 1 on the icon, then click on it.
Hope thats the answer you're looking for
You can double click your menu button and a screen should pop up with the Back,Next,Pause.
Or you can get these babies, unless you dont want to replace your current earphones http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.14472
They have a mic + remote. (1 click pause, 2 click next, 3 clicks back.)

You have too many processes running in the background which causes your apps to overload and crash.
It's a common problem. Just turn it off then on to clear all the processes.
Also if you jailbreak'd it, you can download Kill processes which is a nice app that shows which processes are running and you can close them.

Recently, My iPod Touch (1st Generation) has been freezing on me lately, (it NEVER freezes at home, when I'm on trips, but at school?) After a few minutes of listening to the song, I usually want to switch the song, then suddently it freezes on me, and then I have to leave it there (and it goes hot and stuff) for it to shut down. It's happended quite a few times and is starting to piss me off.. Anybody know what's goin on ? Btw, the whole thing is frozen, I can get it to work for a few minutes, then the whole screen freezes...
Thanks

^ I also had this problem on my old iPod,
do you guys all download your music from z-degrees?
a lot of the songs I got from there did that ><
a short and simple way I found out how to fix:
on your iTunes, right click on the song, and there should be like convert to AAC or something like that. do that, and it should convert the song as it does to WMA files.
after, delete the original file.
it should work after that!
