the show looks to be pretty good. it's one of the only new shows this fall that i'm interested in watching.

the whole Joe + Rebecca thing is just... so frustrating and annoying ^-_-

the episode before the latest one (so two weeks before), was that the one when they showed Joe's side of the story? after i watched that i wanted to scream. THAT WHORE. ^-__- it was wrong of Joe too, but she really instigated it all!! and the way the family TAKES HER IN without even knowing it's mainly her fault and she's a NO-GOOD WHORE. and they basically shun Joe.... I can only wish and hope that the Walkers SOMEHOW find out Rebecca is a tramp and is only trouble... and they shun her!! YES. i knew she was no good from the start =__= I really really want Joe and Sarah's marriage to work TT__TT

Is she trying to get back at the Walker family maybe? By ruining Sarah's marriage and breaking the Walker family? She has good reason to really dislike him... I really think she's manipulating (god, i'm blanking on the recovering alocoholic character's name..) <- him and is trying to break them apart as revenge for the father who was never there for her?? am i being way too thoughtful about this =_=?

maybe it's not her trying to 'break up' the walker family... but her way of

worming herself into the family... remember she started ranting to her mother several episodes back of how her mother deprieved her of having 'the family she has always wanted/dreamed of'.... a family that was loud and chaotic... Rebecca wanted that growing up... she wanted brothers and sisters.... now she has it... but the problem is too much time has passed... the only walker that she is closed to is Justin.... by moving into the house she's near Nora... the mother, Nora's the one who basically keeps the family together, gets them to go to events, etc.... by having Nora by her side... Rebecca can get close to and connect with the other walker siblings... granted by the 'kiss' she has distanced herself from Sarah, the oldest and the other sibling who was actually trying to make Rebecca a part of her family.....

i also dont know y she would want 'revenge on the walker family'... it wasnt their fault.. they didnt even know about her until 20 yrs. later when it was already too late.... everybody's grown up... if she wants to 'take her anger on somebody it should be Holly, her mom, since she's the only one whose still alive'....

but i do love the actress, emily vancamp, who portrays rebecca... she's doing a good job... wouldnt have any actress but her as 'rebecca'.....

and Holly obviously knows it wasn't all Joe. In that one scene she tells her daughter that she knows her too well to know that she didn't do anything. and Rebecca shoots back with , "Just because you're a whore doesn't mean I am." right? so Holly probably knows she's a manipulative crazy person =__= i wonder if Holly said anything to Nora... i don't think she said anymore than "You don't want her in your house."

i use to watch this after DH too, because there wasnt anything else on, at first the series was a bit too busy, but after weeks of watching, the story kinda went full circle, and i just started to become a fan :_)

I think that Rebecca was hitting on joe in order to "get in" with the family, because her mother said something along the lines of her actions not being the right way to be a part of the walker family. I disliked her ever since she got justin to go to that party with her even though he told her that he didnt want to go since he is a recovering alchoholic. But she was like "who cares". I hope the family finds out soon enough that she isnt who she makes herself out to be. Well, I read some spoilers on other sights about this show and it said that Justin gets called in to leave for iraq early and he does so during kitty's engagement party. Also, Kevin and the senator's gay brother gets it on and Saul might be gay too.

so did you guys catch the season finale? best finale i've seen in a while and it definitely beats grey's by a mile... omggggg i've been hoping for kevin and jason to hook up and it's finally happening! i love how they hated each other at first but you always feel this tension between them... yum, kevin always gets the hottest guys (remember scotty? man, was he fine)... i also couldn't wish for a better farewell to justin, even though i'm pretty sure he'll return soon after the 2nd season starts... also, uncle saul! whoa, who would've thought that he's gay or at least bisexual? that explains a whole lot... it was just great to see a resolution to most of the main conflicts in the finale as opposed to a series of cliffhangers, although you know some problems are still present (e.g. the whole rebecca-joe-sarah thing, julia and her depression, uncle saul's coming out) but the pool scene was just so awesome! i'm watching it again tomorrow morning online and i can't wait til the dvd gets released...

well one of the 'babies' are ok.... the boy, william, didnt make it.... but elizabeth is supposed to come home soon but it wasnt shown during the season finale... julia seems depressed about the death of her baby boy... is pretty weak....

i was tearing up when justin was going away TT__TT i loved justin!!!!
and i felt just A LITTLE better when it seemed rebecca was trying to come clean with her part in the kiss. but i don't know.. i still feel she's not trustworthy =___= ohoh! and the senator's brother and kitty's brother... (blanking on his name right now).. that was awkward. is a minister supposed to do that? O_O well, i'm so excited about the kitty + senator relationship.. and meeting his family was crazy. they're even crazier (and drunker) than the Walkers :DD i loved the ending, all the other season finales i caught for all the other shows left me feeling like... BLAH. but this one was really refreshing and funny ^ ^

But I cannot express how much I dislike Holly and Rebecca. They are just SO obsessed with becoming "part of the family" (well, mostly Holly). It really irks me because I think: Don't you realize what you remind everyone of?!

Okay, regarding that picture in the first post: Who is the guy sitting next to Calista Flockhart? Who is that old lady with the blonde hair next to Ron Rifkin? And where is Sally Field, Kevin, and Paige?

^that picture is for the initial concept and the unaired pilot that they had with a different lineup and a different storyline. basically it tanked with the critics so it went through a major revamp before the show actually premiered.

so... anyone catch the season opener? i liked it a lot. it was a bummer that jason left... i mean, they finally admitted they loved each other! this probably sounds horrible, but i'm keeping my fingers crossed and hoping viva laughlin will tank like everyone's predicted so eric winter can return to this show. and at least meanwhile kevin's getting a little distracted by cute scotty instead of chad.

the sarah thing i was most surprised about. i mean, i never thought joe would ask for a divorce--i feel so bad for her.

^Yeh I was surprised about the Joe thing since they seemed to be getting along. I'm actually beginning to like Rebecca but somehow I get the feeling there's something they're going to spring something devastatingly bad about her on us.

I don't think Holly is that obsessed with joining the family. I feel sorry for her because she's always been the other woman. And as for Rebecca, the Walkers are her family and she's just trying to fit in.

I just was this yesterday on tv. It showes pretty late at night. So my first expression of Rebecca was that she's from everywood but also that I don't like her much, when she told her half brother that joe kissed her. Which she lied right?

^what i loved the most about it was how we were led to believe it wasn't real because she wanted to spare kitty from feeling guilty for 'ruining' her romance. and then the reveal that it all happened after all... brilliant!

but seriously, sally field has been blowing me away this season. i mean, she's always been terrific, but she's made me cry at least 3 times this year.
