LG this week let slip details of its forthcoming VX-8600 phone for Verizon Wireless. The sleek black clamshell phone packs most of the features of the VX-8500 Chocolate into a thinner clamshell form factor. Compared to the 8500, the 8600 has a lower-resolution display, but retains all other key features, including stereo Bluetooth, EVDO high-speed data, a megapixel camera, microSD memory card slot, music player, and external touch controls. No official information about pricing or release date was available.

Ohhhh~~~ i saw this in HK and was going to get it, but then I decided on the Samsung D900 instead........the lady was like LG is sexier than D900 but the functions of the D900 is better t han the chocolate

their OS dont bother me at all... i mean you can just change up the theme if you dont like it or at least i have that option on my LG phone, but wow! thats hot ! hope its not a finger print magnet =\

i am interested in this phone.

mostly debating within the LG VX8500 (original chocolate) and this, LG VX8600.

but i guess it will depend on when this one comes out!

HMM i really don't like the original chocolate phone, so i would say that this one is like 100 times better.

LG's black label (chocolate) series has 3 phones..this isn't that new. More or less, they have a slider, a brick and a clamshell. I saw these ads all over the place when I was in HK this year.
