CJ media will start up a new cable channel tvN on this October.
"Hyena" is its first drama (16 episodes, scenario: Lee Seong Eun, direction: Cho Soo Won).
The format of this drama is one conclusion episode.
TVN original drama treats various themes more freely than the dramas of terrestrial broad casting station.
They provide amusement that we couldnt get from the previous dramas.
The production cost of this drama is 5 billion won.
Shooting will start from the middle of August.
"Hyena" is male version "Sex and the City".
This story is about four unmarried men in their 30s.
They are childhood friends.
They keep their youthful vitality and sometimes make troubles but somehow we cant hate them.
It expresses frankly but sincerely about the daily life of men and their thought about love, work and friendship through the eyes of a woman.
The drama is progress by the narration of a female lead.
The character concept of this drama is "You can find every type of man in this drama".

*RELATED NEWS*8/2/06 Kim Min Jong will lead the drama Hyena (하이에나) scheduled to be broadcasted by the cable channel TVN in October. Actor Yoon Da Hoon (윤다훈) will also perform in this drama. The drama is the male version of Sex In The City (섹스 앤 더 시티) portraying the pleasant and hilarious daily life of single men in their 30s.
KMJ plays the role Kim Chul Soo (김철수) who is a PD of an art show and dreams to have freedom of flirting. YDH plays the role Choi Jin Sang (최진상) who is an author of internet novels. Actors Oh Man Suk and Shin Sung Lok (오만석, 신성록) and actresses Soh Yi Hyun and Oh Soo Min (소이현, 오수민) will also act in this drama. The script writers are Choi Wan Gyoo (최완규) who wrote for All In, Love Story in Harvard, and Joo Mong, as well as Lee Sung Eun (이성은) whose previous work was Sad Sonata.
