Meteor Garden I !! I loved it so much back then! It's got some hilarious parts (and sweet too)

Meteor Garden is the most famous Taiwanese drama. You should have started there, but oh well, heh. People who watch it usually end of liking it. In my opinion, don't watch Meteor Garden II. Pretend it never happened.

Love Contract. The ending sucked, but the beginning and middle was really sweet and funny. The characters are really great in this one.

Mars is very well done for a drama. I really recommend it. It's for more...serious people, unless you only watch it for Vic, heh.

Devil Beside You is not bad, if you like teenage, dramatic dramas with an okay plot and lots of hot people in it.

Bump Off Lover is actually pretty good as well. It's a thriller-ish drama. I recommend it.

Tokyo Juliet, Top on the Forbidden City, and Prince Turns to Frog are...okay, not the best, but okay.

And, also in my opinion, stay away from: Green Forest My Home, Smile Pasta, Silence, At the Dolphin Bay, Magicians of Love, Let's Get Married. But if you like that kind of stuff, be my guest.

but yah STAY AWAY from green forest, frog prince, devil beside you, let's get married, magician's of love etc THEY HAVE CRAPPY ACTING, CRAPPY STORYLINES, just basically 'give me a break' omg you know?

Mars - dark but very good and original

Prince Turns Into Frog - very cute love story..not only that, you'll laugh 2/3 of the time you watch it ^^

The Magicians of Love - i love this series, even though it was a bit draggy, but it was still really funny and delightful..

Silence - the plot is a bit cliche, but still very good!!! i love this series ^^


I have tons more, but the series will probably be too old for you to find them since I started watching Taiwanese when I was like around 15-16 and I know a lot of old Taiwanese actors...

I'd recommend Prince Turns Into Frog.....one of the best series I've ever watched (if you're into that type of humor, that is). The story and acting is not crappy at all, unlike what someone mentioned earlier. The plot is a bit cliche, but it's done in such a way that you rarely get bored. This is a must watch.

Devil Beside You isn't bad either...just it got sorta draggy towards the middle and end, but still a pretty sweet series overall.

Try Meteor Garden....but forget about the part two that was a waste of a perfectly good storyline.

Mars is a good series too. Though very dark in tone.

On Dolphin Bay is one of the good Taiwanese dramas.

i watched "the frog prince" first and really liked it. then realize its kinda similar to the korean "save the last dance for me"!

"mars" is pretty good. and "say yes enterprise" is worth watching. its divided into 6 parts, but oh well, watch all!
