for all you nerdy people, microsoft has the customer preview program open for people for a very limited time to test Release Candidate 1.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsvista/
and goto try windows vista..
for any of you guys that don't know, rc1 (build 5600) is a lot better then any other previous build, which is probably why it's called a release candidate..
anyways, i'm running it, i like it. go sign up and enjoy if you're into that type of thing
also the only problem i'm currently having is that for some reason it wont give me 5.1 surround sound from my sound card, it recognizes it perfectly but still only lets me use 2.1 ... but that's my only problem so far... later

won't try something thats a Release Candidate? Something that will get updates and pretty much eventually turn into the "Final Version"? And it's free till June 07? Man, sometimes i wonder how "techy" some of you people are haha.
