In the two images you've provided, there are a few boxes that aren't alligned perfectly. I guess that really depends on what your definittion of 'perfect' is, but I can see variations in border thickness and box allignments in a few areas.

As for your question about how to get it 'perfectly' alligned, it depends on which version of Photoshop you're on. If you happen to be on Photoshop CS2, you can turn on Smart Guides (View>Show>Smart Guides). This will alow you to 'snap' edges to any area that alligns to another edge on another layer by showing you temporary guides that pop up when the layer you're dragging is in line with something else.
If you're not on CS2 (you can do this even if you're on CS2), you can use Guides to allign your objects.
Turn on the Ruler (View>Rulers or Ctrl+R).
Click inside the ruler and drag out a guide to where you want (from the left ruler for a vertical guide and from the top ruler for a horizontal guide). You can make as many as you want.
Make sure 'Snap' is turned on (View>Snap).
Now your layers will snap to the guides when moved near them.
Perfectly alligned.
Hopefully.

I don't think you can load textures. They're just images that you open and then drag onto the image you're working on. smile.gif I save it onto my computer somewhere and open the one I wanna use into Photoshop.

I've never installed the fonts into my PS 'cause my sister always does it but I think you just open up your Control Panel, open up your Fonts folder, and just drop the font file in there.

Can someone post a guide/tutorisl/how-to on MAKING CUSTOM GRADIENTS?

I try, but it just turns out really ugly...there are only 3 different colors that come out.

Yep all should work with CS. Also, your question about the lines. You pretty much just make those lines yourself and then organize them in a neat way like in that graphic you posted. If you have trouble finding the line tool, here's a cap of it. biggrin.gif

mmkay, so i've asked this before.. but i've never really gotten an answer.. (that i understood, or worked)

I WANT TO MAKE BETTER GIFs
dont worry, i read muddie's tutorial.. but its not exactly what i needed.. or maybe it was, but i'm just reallly stupid and didnt realize it.

OK!!! well, this is what i have so far..
i still had to edit every image to make it a better quality.. and aggh.. it still looks like crap. is there an easier way to do it, instead of editing every image image in psp, saving it, then opening it up with jasc animation, to work with it? *out of breeath*

this is something that i made without a design or anything:
IPB Image

and these are the type of outcomes i would like to have:
IPB Image
IPB Image
credit--asianrice
IPB Image
credit--kiki

so i'm wondering, how would you exactly get the design and the gif to combine as one? i use jasc animation shop, and oss decompiler. i tried to edit it in imageready, but i dont seem to understand how to use it.. TT__TT
people said on my first post about this, to just put the design layer over it.. and.. askjsdg.. yeah.. i didn't understand!!! -____- but i tried.. and it was not working for me..

so.. how would i..
IPB Image get the writing to stay on throughout the whole thing, along with the pinkish covering/texture.. ?
IPB Image get a design on it.. with the pinkish texture over the image, and making it look better?

so far, all i can do, are the basics.. such as getting the images i want.. and putting them together.. such as my avatar.
aaghhh. ok, so... i dont know how to make this explanation any simpler..
but if anyone understands.. can you please help?
thank youu :] i'm really bad at explaining things.
