hey today i finally started learning how to use photoshop and went through the tutorials posted here (: i was wondering what are the good sites to download brushes, tempaltes, and filtures? how do i save it onto my computer and use it in photoshop, because once i tried saving brushes but it didn't work. >o< and what are some of those that are popular or used often?

Maybe Chelly does use brushes but its a high possibility that she doesn't. They are all filter work.

If you're a beginner, then this might seem a bit difficult for you to achieve - I'm not saying you can't but it takes a lot of time and trial. Be prepared to loose a lot of patience.
Though nothing is impossible... (:
It's simply using the filters and playing around with your layers/opacity and all the typical (blending in the images as well). Am I being on the surface? :X
I would highly say the person did not use any brushes, do correct me if I'm wrong though.

I did look through it and I only found 'The 30 Second Makeover (Beginner)' which doesnt really get that real ulzzjang effect. Nevermind, I found it on the middle pages.

Actually, I went back through my tutorial and I realised I left out a LOT or stuff. And I don't really discuss lighting (or do I? lol). If i can find the time, I'll squeeze in a few more details and maybe change the picture.

Check the FONTS, BRUSHES, & TEXTURES, etc thread, there are a lot of resources there.
