Does anyone know any info about detagging caps or scans? What program you use? How it happens? Hard or easy? Thank you.
I'm a novice when it comes to photoshop hehe...just thought I should throw that out. Now, when I make my graphics I usually use brushes, stock and I mess around with filters but that's about it. but, I've been hearing alot about textures. My problem....how do you use a texture (generally). I downloaded a few and they were in jpg format. is that right?

It takes more than just changing the mode to work with texture. The placement of the textures plays a big role. As well, as knowing which parts to erase when you've overdone it on some part of the artwork.
I'm trying to make a new wallpaper and I want to post up lyrics in the background (right now, specifically Chinese, though I'd like to know how to get Japanese and Korean to work too). How do I get foreign languages to show up in Photoshop? What can copy&paste from the website to Word or Notepad doesn't work in Photoshop (7.0) and I'm not sure what to do, even though I tried searching a bit on google. Please help! Thanks
In order to use foreign writings on a piece of work, you're going to have to download a font made especially for them. For instant, you want Chinese character, you're going to have to download a font that's made especially for Chinese characters in order to use it on PS. Otherwise, little boxes will show up.

textures are basically just regular images. they aren't like brushes where you have to save them in a specific folder.

I had the same problem, I asked Jason about it, wait let me quote.
By default your 'scratch disk' is set to your system drive/partition (C:/ usually on a Windows machine).
If it becomes too full for Photoshop's scratch disk, it's a pretty safe bet that it's too full for your system as well.
Do you know how much space you have left?
There we go
