how can i make an image filled text?
i also saw the same question on previous posts but i forgot the page where i saw it
Ctrl+click on the thumbnail (on the layers palette) of the text layer you're trying to fill.
This will load a selection around the text (moving dotted line).
Open the image you want to fill the text with.
Ctrl+A to select the entire image.
Ctrl+C to copy the image.
Go back to the document with the text still selected.
Add a new layer on top of the text layer.
'Edit>Paste Into'.
You can click and drag the picture layer (with the move tool) until you have it placed where you want.

I was wondering: Is there a tutorial on cropping pictures out?
You mean something other than using the Crop tool?

i think i am asking the wrong thing.
How do u cut out people from pictures like this? (example)
do u just have to use the eraser?
and how do u take that picture and like blend that to make a poster?
and whats the difference between: filter and blend?
I am completely new to PS. >_<

But then, when I got to the part where you open the .AVI file in Adobe ImageReady,
this error comes message comes up:

Does anyone know whats wrong?
I'm pretty sure I did all the steps before that correctly..
Thankies!! <3

You can use the magic wand tool to cut pictures out like that or the polygon lasso tool and just go close around it and then erase?
Well I'm no pro, but blending is just like meshing two or more pictures together so it looks like one. No choppy lines. Filters are used to do something to a picture. (I think....err I dunno) And you just need to mess around with the layer settings to make it look good.
Now I have a question

How do I get colouring like that??
Just layers and layers? I asked the creator and didn't get a straight up answer (haha no offense Der)

You can use the technique in the above tutorial to create your own Patterns.
The diagonal scanline can be dulicated, flipped horizontally and blended to create the cross pattern you're looking for.
-> how do u duplicate the diagonal scanline?
2nd: How do u do this kind of thing on the side?

that's an icon brush, i'm pretty sure. you can find heaps of them at hybrid genesis or maybe colorfilter. they work the same as ordinary brushes, it's just that they're the perfect size for icons =)
