Sorry, I wasn't specific enough. Yea, it's something like cutting a person's head out and replace it with another's. Or either. . .Erm.. .Let's say, we have a photo of Se7en and a photo of Sung Yuri and we try to cut them out of those pics and put them together in one pic as if they had taken the pic together. That's what I'm trying to do. Or is it possible if I pm you the pics and if it's not too troublesome, could u pls do it for me? If not then, please tell me how I can do it? Thanks

^ I think it lowers it by itself. Whenever I edit w/ ImageReady, the bytes on there it's different than after you save optimize, it size is lower.

on the top right, theres a settings box, mess with that, and the amount of colors that you'd like on the gif.

I think some one DID explain that already ._. .
But I don't know what page, so I just suggest filling the canvas with black, then erasing the middle ( or until you reach the edges, whatever you want) with a large soft brush, then lowering the opacity of the layer.

But I don't know what page, so I just suggest filling the canvas with black, then erasing the middle ( or until you reach the edges, whatever you want) with a large soft brush, then lowering the opacity of the layer.

You could also make a new layer, then use the Marquee tool (i.e., selection tool) and put the Feather/Tolerance to something larger than "0". This will make the rectangular marquee be more rounded. The larger the feather/tolerance, the rounder it gets. Now use it to create a selection of the canvas, then right-click/cmd-click and choose "Select Inverse". With the paint bucket tool, fill the new outer selection with black. Use the layer's opacity/fill setting in the Layers palette to adjust the darkness too.

A third way of doing it is to go to the Layer Properties (double-click an empty spot of the layer in the Layers palette and the dialog box should come up). Now go to "Inner Glow" on the left-hand side. Change the color to black. The amount you see is best (easiest) done by messing with the following settings: Opacity, Distance, Size, & Spread. Play around with the settings as you like.

You can probably also use the Stroke property, and it should give the same effect. Drop Shadow could even do it too. You just have to know how each of those Layer Properties work to be able to do the things you want.

If you have any questions about what I just described, feel free to ask.

Well, alot could be put into that. You have to be more specific. If you mean the white decoration, that could either be a mask brush/ floral mask brush. Alot of those brushes can be found for download at deviantart.Either that or it was done by hand through the pen tool(I doubt it, but it could have been.). Pen tool tutorials are also available at devaintart. The background looks like a paper scan and the polaroid could easily be a stock or a brush as well. And the colors could have been reached by usuing gradients or just color fills though paint bucket and blended into each other, set on certain blending modes.

At least I'm pretty sure. *waits for Tailo to elaborate xD *

How do you apply a bright spot like the banner above?

What is the best way to separate photo from multy-colored background?
I tried using magic wand but it didnt work very good
I tried with the lasso tool also but its hard to work with and doesnt give nice clean edge

The Lasso tool is as good as any for doing what you want. If you want cleaner edges, zoom in closer to the pixels when you make your selection.

You can check the indexes for how to use the Extract option and the Pen Tool if you want to try other options. But what I can tell you now is that it's probably easiest just to use what you're comfortable with and ZOOM in as much as you can when selecting. If the edges aren't clean enough, I usually go in afterwards and use a Brush in the Quick Mask mode (shortcut Q). [Use your Photoshop help file to learn about what you can do in Quick Mask mode. Or you can just search for how to use it online.]

i have a very stupid question.. hehehe~ after all these times, i never ever use stock photos for any of my ps stuff..my question is, what is exactly stock photos? is that only things that you put on the artwork you're trying to make?and how to apply it? is it only make the layer on screen or multiply mode or make the opacity lower etc.. or are there any other way?thank you!! i just try to make something different.. i did some filtering but then everybody uses it.. so am trying to make something i never make before.. hahahaha~
