My photoshop freezes on me everytime I try to save and does not work. It functions normally, except when it comes to saving. Anyone knows why?? O.O I uninstalled the program and installed a new one on my laptop but the result is still the same. It won't let me save.

The problem is most likely with your RAM (random access memory) on your laptop. If you don't have enough RAM, PS won't have enough memory to function properly--usually when it comes to saving, but it can also slow down.

The first solution is to tweak the Memory Usage of your Photoshop. The second is to get more RAM. I mentioned them both when I answered this same question a few pages back. Check that to see if it solves your problem.

is there a way to put perfect grid lines on a picture in photoshop?

If you just want to use a Grid when you're doing work, you can turn it on under View > Show Grid. If you actually want grid lines to show up on the final picture then I'll have to get back to you on an easier way to do it than to hand-draw it with the Pen tool.

Please check the Index. There are a number of tutorials that use the Pen, Lasso, and Extract tools to get you what you need.

In the Preferences dialog box there should be a tab for "Guides & Grids." There you can change the grid line colors to something darker. You can also change it so that your grid spacing is different.

^ You can do that in lots of different ways. If it was me, I would desaturate the picture (Ctrl+U), and on Saturation lower it to -100. Then go to Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Color Balance. And then mess around with the settings to get the color you want, as for blending, I was advise you to check the first page out, as there are tutorials on blending.

OR you could create a new layer and flood fill with a blue colour, then change the blending mode.

Same as what Yin said with the Desaturate. Once it's in gray-scale, you can create a new layer and fill it with a slate-gray color and put the Blending Mode to "Color."

As for the fading, I would definitely look for a tutorial in the index. At first glance though, I would personally add a Layer Mask of sorts and just use a soft brush.

Check in the previous page or one before that. Someone asked a similar question, also referred to as 'tags'.

It's a tool used to slice a picture up to smaller pieces, usually used in web designing
I use it for web layouts, because smaller pieces of a picture load quicker than if it was a large

How do you insert another picture in the picture with this type of style?

And and how do you change from this picture

to this?
