sweatingbullets.gif I am very sorry if this was mention already, but how do you make those.

Elliptical Marquee to select a circle.
Choose the darkest pink color in that bubble.
Edit > Fill > Foreground Color

Create new layer.
Select > Modify > Contract > 10 pixels
Set foreground to White.
Select Gradient Tool.
Choose the Circular Gradient.
Set the gradient from White to Transparency.
Click and drag from the top of the circle to 3/4 of the way down.
Set Layer Opacity to 70%.

Filter > Gaussian Blur > 1 pixel
Layer > Flatten Image

hi i was wondering if anyone can help me with something. Okay, well i'm new in photoshop and i have these tape brushes, but i don't know how to make it look like tape or the effect of it looking like tape. If anyone knows how, please help me! Thank you!

Like Yin said, if it's a tape brush, it should look like tape. I would think you just drag it like a piece of tape then.

1st one: You can use the Pentool and actions to make the lines, then for the glow, use a soft rounded pixel brush, and then set the layer on Screen, then maybe lower the opacity a little bit or something. Grab the 1px brush, and add the dots on. You'll probably need to use color balance/selective color.

2nd one: Like the first one (not including the line bit,) but then use vector brushes, then try playing around with the blending modes, in this case I think it'll probably be Overlay or Softlight. You'll probably need to use color balance/selective color on the image, in order for it to match the colors more.

3rd one: One of trashstar's textures, you can get it from http://www.paint-pops.net it's under goodies -> banner textures -> bg21.jpg

4th one: pictures isn't showing

5th one: you can take a screencap of a transparent canvas and the paste the boxes from that onto the banner and blend it in, then it kinda looks like as though she's used gradients, and brushes. Or, for the orange-y glowy bits, she could have used a stock? If you head over to Illustrious Forums, and ask over there, I think LK would be glad to help you smile.gif

erm, i'm not sure whether this is the right thread or not,
but im curious on how to change the banner size to less than 40KB without changing the quality of the pictures.
cos' i've noticed some soompiers with pretty HQ (300x100) banners which are less than 40KB. :/
and i can't do it because it will overshot 40KB by alot of i have HQ banners.

><

Just a quick note to everyone requesting things (in general), please be more specific. We don't always know what "this" will refer to. Give an antecedent to your pronouns, please.

i'm just going to assume that you're talking about the lighting of the pictures.
if you're not then, please be more specific like Tailo said.

anyways, here's a "wannabe-ulzzang-picture" tutorial that i came up with:

we'll start with this image:

*note: the image you start with has to be of decent/good quality
(this picture was taken with a Canon Powershot SD630 outside in the sun with no flash)

-- this tutorial is kinda long because i was messing around a lot biggrin.gif --

1. duplicate image 2 times and set both to "Screen"
2. sharpen the 3rd duplicate
3. go to layer > merge visible (should just be one layer now)
4. go to layer > new fill layer > solid color and fill in with "F6DDA6"
5. set that to "Multiply" opacity 50%
6. go to layer > new adjustment layer> curves and fill in with "Input: 141 Output: 106" (make sure the channel is on RGB)
7. duplicate image and drag it to the top
8. go to filter > blur > gaussian blur and set the radius to 5.0 pixels (image should look slightly blurry now)
9. go to edit > fade gaussion blur and choose "Overlay" opacity 100%
10. set the image to "Soft Light" (image should no longer look blurry)
11. go to layer > new fill layer > solid color and fill in with "F9E2CE"
12. set that to "Multiply"
13. go to layer > new fill layer > selective color and fill in Neutrals with Cyan +50; Yellow -30; Black +10
14. duplicate the selective color layer and set it to "Soft light" opacity 40%

and FINALLY you have this result:

p.s. all results will probably differ from mine's.
the point of this tutorial is to give you tips so if your result doesn't look great, change the settings.
if you have any Q's, feel free to ask! happy photoshopping ^^

^ wow! awesome coloring and lighting tutorial, darany!
to the question poster: if you want a more subtle washed out look, you can lower the brightness and contrast and perhaps a bit of the saturation too

OMG Britney is back!!! w00t.gif

Okay not really, its just photoshop.Haha, but I'm sure y'all knew that.

Heres the orginal photo.

Step 1 : Fixing a receding hairline.

Duplicate the picture because its always best to work in layers. (In case of mistakes)

Use the rectangle marquee tool to volumize (strech) her hair make sure the show bounding box is enabled.

In this instance you can also use the liquify tool (located in the filter option).

Step 2 : 1 minute weight Lost

Duplicate layer

Here I used the liquify tool on her stomach and arms.

Step 3 : Fixing that wonky eyeball

Duplicate layer

Here we use the rectangle marquee tool (bounding box enabled) again to rotate her eye to the desired position.

[b]Step 4:
Spray On tan

Duplicate layer

Go to Image option >adjustments >color balance. (I used the yellow color tone) Use the blur tool to fix her skin imperfections.

Step 5 : Makeover complete

Duplicate layer

Use the burn tool on her cheeks and eyes to bring out the color. I then used the clone tool to erase away her jewery (too flashy neh.) Finally I used the magic wand tool to change her dress and hair color to red via the image option.

Success!

^ What do you mean "you can't?" huh.gif
All you have to do is save it as jpg/png/gif
Then upload it onto something like imageshack or photobucket.
But like espèce* said, results will vary.

I don;t want to hurt your eyes.
I know what you are doing right now. Yes, just as I expected you are reading what I have written here.

I'm not exactly sure why this has anything to do with getting Photoshop CS3 illegally.
Unless you start reading the manual (which most people refuse to do), or run into some 'animation' tutorials online, there's nothing in the CS3 package that notifies a user that is used to seeing ImageReady included as a separate program that ImageReady is no longer a separate program.
Purchased or not.

Many people just don't realize that ImageReady is not included with Photoshop. Adobe has taken some of ImageReady's abilities and ported them into their new 'Animation' feature.
Which includes video, as well.

Well assuming that you got it legally, you would and should know that its intergrated in photoshop already.. maybe i just assumed that but i don't know. You would tend to think that when you buy a product you would know what feature are included right?
