made in paint shop pro 9 but is translatable to photoshop
going from this
or alternative
this
DUPLICATE BASE TO SCREEN
#330b0d TO DIFFERENCE 100 PERCENT
for the 1st coloring i lowered this down to 96 percent
#ffb9c5 TO BURN 100 PERCENT
also play around with this layer
COLOR BALANCE LAYER
MIDTONES 10 -15 -20
CHANNEL MIXER LAYER
RED 115 -30 0
ALTERNATIVE 200 -100 0
^ THIS WOULD BE IN PLACE OF THE 1ST CHANNEL MIXER LAYER
IF YOU WANT THE SECOND COLORING
SHARPEN AND THEN YOUR DONE!

I would like to know how come each time I do an icon or a banner *which the size 100x 100 are what soompi wants* the size would be over 40KB
Take this for example
and the GIF too
Just see the size, it all over 40KB. How do I change the size?

When exporting (File>Save for Web), find the balance between image quality and file size.

for me
the easiest way is
for the icon u can save it as gif files
that should reduce the size of the icon (the quality will be lesser than when u save in jpeg too but it wont be much diff)
for gif
there's no other way aside from reducing the image that u are using to make the gif
ie shortening the length of the gif

For lazy people, you can find a premade shape for it under the CUSTOM SHAPE TOOL (located under the Rectangle Tool, which is next to the Pen Tool) that will give you a similar look. View all your shapes and select this one:

for the alternate coloring i took away the softlight layer and duplicated the screen layer 2 times instead of once

alternate coloring
on these 2 i only had 1 screen layer but still eliminated the softlight layer

Example: If I were to set my font size to be as big as 60, then the size would be as big as size 24. Then If I set it to size 8, I can barely see any text.
(I hope I am specific enough.)

Not sure.
But later, I'm going to go to a forum about cats, and ask about LCD televisions.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Depends on the version of Photoshop you're using.
Prior to version CS2 (I think), selecting multiple layers involved having to 'link' the layers together.
Since CS2's release, holding Cmd/Ctrl and clicking multiple layers (on the Layers palette) will select them.
Make sure you're clicking on name of the layer, and not the thumbnail. Cmd/Ctrl clicking the thumbnail will use that layer's contents to make a marquee selection (marching dotted lines). Again, I'm not sure if this started with CS or CS2, but the method still applies.
If the above is not working for you, there may be other issues.

I want to save all my images using the same settings. I know how to record it and whatnot but I have no idea how to have it automatically repeat for all the files.
Thanks for any help

wavy lines:
1. on a large empty canvas, use the rectangle shape tool to create a long line (up to you how long or short, and i recommend no more than 10 pixels in height [per stripe line] -- the wider the line/stripe, the less easy it will be to get a good wave; try short stripes first (width))
2. duplicate it (CNTRL + J) and move the new layer down. repeat. the goal is to create a striped pattern (like flag stripes)
3. filter > liquify > brush size: 600 (also change the pressure and density of the brush as well)
4. liquify the stripes to get a desired wave or swirly look; it varies every time since it is done by hand
5. resize/edit/sharpen as desired
color gradients on the wavy lines:
whatever the color is for the stripes, do a CNTRL + J, set the duplicated layer to MULTIPLY, then use a 300 pixel feather brush to erase parts of it, and this will give you a dark|light look in select areas, depending on the original color of the stripe that you choose to work with.
hope this works for ya. =]
Thank you so much kpopchild! <33

File>Automate>Batch
Things will look confusing, but the only things you really need to worry about are which action you're going to run, which files they're going to be run on, and what Photoshop is going to do with the output. The last part will depend on whether you included the saving of the file in the actual action.
If it's too confusing, do a Google search on Photoshop batch actions.
