^ If you remove PS 7.0, you're also removing Imageready since the two is a bundle. CS3 -- you can use that to make gifs. It has the animation feature that was originally only in Imageready.

what i mean is i use image Ready to convert videos to gifs. can i do that too with CS3?

^ Yes you can. I'm not familiar with how you do that in Imageready but if it's File > Import > Video Frames to Layers... then yes.

Any program you open will use RAM (the physical memory you have installed on your computer - ex: 512MB).
A 'Scratch Disk' refers to 'Virtual Memory'.
Virtual memory is empty space on your hard drive that programs use temporarily.
The space gets used when the physical memory isn't enough to support whatever it is you're telling the program to do.

What that 'warning' is telling you is that your scratch disk is set to the same drive that Photoshop is installed on (by default).
Other options are to use an external hard drive (a fast one connected through Firewire or USB 2) or a secondary internal hard drive, and set either of those as the scratch disk.
This isn't necessary and usually reserved for 'power users' who notice every little slow-down on their machines.

I wouldn't worry about it.

The setting is under 'Performance' in Photoshop Preferences.

If you're asking about the bow, it's a photo someone cut out.
If it's the 'see-through' area you're interested in, it's a low opacity rectangle (most likely white) with repeating purple lines (1 or 2 px thick) across the top and bottom.

Control Panel>Date, Time, Language, and Regional Options>Regional and Language options

a pop-up appears and you go to the Languages tab, click on Details and you get another pop-up. Click Add and find Korean. After that you can have the option of displaying your Language Bar at the top of your screen.

^ After going there, I can't seem to find Korean! What should I do?

I'm no longer active on here... :(

Just a question sweatingbullets.gif

If that bow is a photo someone cut out and stuck it on, how can you cut the photo out perfectly in Photoshop 7.0?

Google 'photoshop masking tutorial video'.
You'll get the hang of it with a few tutorials.

^ Pro is such an overused word to describe someone who's familiar with the ins and outs of the program.

Anyway,
Location: my house.
Cost: Free? If you mean by taking classes, then no, I didn't spend a single cent on lessons.
How: It started with tutorials. But I never really liked reading those just to get the same end-result. So I self-taught myself.
Etc. Years of practice and experimenting. Learning the whole program doesn't happen overnight.
