about the border thingy from akemi's poster.. jasonyc, you said single pixel stroke and dissolve and then lower opacity..well, i did that and it didn't work =__=^
do i have to like, merge all layers first then duplicate the layer THEN use the stroke? and what's the stroke's location? (inside, center, or outside)
wahhh i am soo stupid please help me!! TT^TT
<3ah bao 1. Choose the Rectangular Marquee tool (you're not going to use this tool, but a step requires that you have it selected).
2. Create a new blank layer.
3. Ctrl+A (Win)/Cmd+A (Mac) to select the entire canvas.
4. Right click inside the selection (anywhere in the image), and choose 'Stroke' from the context menu (this is where you need to have the Marquee Tool selected - many other tools will work also, but some do not give you the 'Stroke' option in the context menu).
5. Set to 1px/Inside/whatever color you want (try black first).
6. Set the Layer Mode to 'Dissolve'.
7. Play with the opacity (50% works well for me).
