First of all...don't take my graphic and just cut it off like that, I don't like it. And credit people's graphics, no matter if you cut it or not..

I made that Wonbin graphic, and I used pattern overlay to get those those effect on Won Bin and texture to get the colors.

i have a question. i'm trying to make a video gif but when i opened the avi video into imageready not pics show. i'm thinking it's because of i need a certain quicktime program or something so that i can see it. i have quicktime and i updated it to the newest version but still see no pics. so which quicktime do you guys have to be able to see the pics of a avi vid in imageready?

Unless they're claiming your work as their own, it shouldn't be that big of a problem.

I think the soompiers learn from the artown and request forum. The people that post there have learned to credit. i think that's why ____gone is stressing about it.

my photoshop is being a piece of poo to me =__=

somehow when i try to click to move something on a different layer it skips back to the background layer. For example, i tried moving something from layer 6 and then it just skips back to the background layer and i cant move the layer 6 thing at all. And yes i did click on layer 6 before moving but it just skips back to the background layer -__-''

ok...tis happens to me sometimes. Few lil trick I learnt:
1. when u click on "move tool" u see this "auto select layer" make sure it's ticked.
If it doesnt work, then tick 'show bounding box'. After u select the layer to move, click on the 'dotted box' and it'll turn to 'solid line' and you can move the layer wherever you want.

2. Go to layer box n click on the layer u want to move. Then, go to "Edit" pick "Free transform"

Pretty much work for me.



Ps: Jason, thanks for that additional tip. I'm now addicted to playing around with layering

REQ does anyone hav a tutorial on how to add colorization on black & white images?
i've seen some of them in the artwork section and im kinda....inspired to do it too. lol.
but im not sure that it's just the dream effect....is it? ><
or do they just add color...and then make it dreamier so that it seems more realistic?

I wasn't trying to single you out. It's something I've been thinking about for awhile, and you just reminded me of it.
'Ego' isn't something you are. It's something you have. Again, not you, specifically.

Of course it's great when someone who uses your image decides to credit you, and you have every right to let someone know how you feel about them using your image. But when you decide that someone simply must credit all your work as a 'rule', then it stops being fun.

I think much of what you produce and display on Soompi is fantastic. All I'm saying is that the work should be able to speak for itself. It shouldn't have to have 'Made By _gone' associated with it to have full impact.

And again, it wasn't to say 'I hate people who think that way'. It was a comment about not understanding that method of thought.

Plus, I was totally drunk.
