I haven't really come across a way for lowering the kb for a gif other than reducing the number of frames used or playing around with the timing. i personally hate using different optimize settings cos it (in my opinion) ruins the overall quality of the gif.
Well, if anyone does come across a way, please do share

I have a few questions.... How do you guys save your graphics/pictures in .jpeg formats?
I've tried saving many pictures/graphics in .jpeg format but the result doesn't turn out clear. o.O;
I.E: Here's an avatar
And so I saved it as .png since jpeg wasnt clear. =/
But somehow it turns out a bit blurry?
I dont know. Help anyone ? -____________-;

oh. thanks jasonyc. microsoft word calls that option justify so i figured it might be the same for photoshop. but then what would you call the option for aligning all the text so that it would appear without any jadged edges to the right hand side? and is there an option for that in photoshop?
I don't know whether you will see this since its been like 2 weeks since your post.
As far as I know there is no one button to make text justified in PS.
What you can do is:
Click on the type tool. Or press T.
Anyway rather than clicking on the canvas with the Type tool and start typing,
click on the canvas with the Type tool and draw a bounding box for your text. The bounding box will stop your text from overflowing on the right side.
Thats it. I'll post screencaps soon.

i'm just wondering what you people use for the blending modes for gradients. gradients bother me so much! yet they make everything look good.
The type of blending mode used for any layer depends on the results you're trying to achieve.
There seems to be a misunderstanding among Soompi users who are perhaps taught to do something one particular way, and don't venture to try other things.
And gradients don't make everything look good.

Hi, thanks for that tutorial, but I was wondering if it was still possible to save patterns with Photoshop 5.5? Because apparently, there is no arrow... thing...

That's the problem... nothing pops up after I click 'Define Pattern,' although it DOES go into the history box o_o
Melissa.
I'm sorry but I'm rather impatient and I'd really like to be able to do diagonal scanlines .__.
