so I just went to my first orientation..lol =)..It was fun..hahahaa

I met my roomie..she's cute haha..and then I met my washroom mate LOL..her mom's hilarious..and lets see..oh ya..met some people here and there..hahaha..but ya it's been fun and hectic..

i'll share my friends', since i don't start until sept 21st.

1) My friend was late to school one day, so she ran all the way to the other side of the campus. when she got to her classroom, she was panting.. and it was very quiet.. so all eyes were on her. the freshman asian girl that was late

2) My friend was walking to the elevator. She thought the girl was holding it for her, but just as she as about to enter, the elevator door closed on her. She stuck her shoe between the elevator and the door, thinking that the door would spring open. But then the door didn't spring back open!!! So her foot was just STUCK there haha. And the people inside the elevator were so shocked that they didn't think about opening the door for her. well.. one of the girls is in her english class, and after class, she said "well, it's a good thing you got your shoe back" HAHAHAHA. ok, it doesn't sound funny when i tell stories

well during my orientation i was in a group full of alcoholic drunkies well i guess just typical college bound students haha but yea they wanted to get wasted on the first night of orientation and i was the loser that was like 'i'll pass'.

and on the first day of classes i was pretty much late to all my classes because i didn't know how to navigate the campus. i kept walking around in circles.

it rained like crazy and we all sat around our friend's dorm thinking..."why did we apply here???" then we ended up having a party at his place woohoo.

Orientation was REALLY boring, and it was two days!!! Waste of my life. I thought I had no roommate overnight but right when I was about to open the door, I heard a girl and a guys voice O.o so I just left them alone and I really didn't feel like sleeping on those crappy, small, high beds. I would fallen off of the bed if I moved a couple of inches and it was really high. I would have to jump just to sleep on it. So, I just went home and then came back. I met some friends there too.

First day of school, find my english class was a freaking pain. I don't know who designed the building but I'm pretty sure it was a drunk person. I walked around the first floor, couldn't find anything. Then went down one floor and still had trouble. I walked in a circle, couldn't find the room, then I went inside, and still couldn't find the room after a while. Also, my english teacher is cool, she really cares about us. Finding the rest of my classes were quite easy. I walked around campus during the break in between to get to know it better and get some excercise while I'm at it. Overall, it was ok, now it's getting much better since I'm meeting with new people.

First day of classes, I was very pleased with my schedule, because the building where some lecture was held was right next to the one where my bio lab was due to be held directly afterward, so I didn't need to go searching around campus for some obscure building.
Well, that morning in my bio class, the professor announces that the buildings for bio labs have switched to such-and-such a building. I had no clue where this was, the map left me confused, and the several students I asked had no clue where the building was either! I eventually found it, but I was 20 minutes late. Stupid thing....

it was my first day of college..i have an 8:30 am sociology class, and i was almost late because traffic was so horrible that i ended up parking across the street at some apartment complex and running to my class..as i was running, i tripped over something sticking up from the ground and went flying o__O what's worse is that morning time is when most the people are on campus >__<

It was raining soooooo much the day I moved in so by the time I met my RA (who i have a huge dorky crush on) i looked like a drowned rat. >.< I missed the bus like three times already and have gotten off at the wrong bus stop twice in a row. classes are painfully boring. there are soo many distractions. i think ihave add or something bc i can't seem to study. ahhhhh i have a paper due tom..!!!!

in freshman year a friend and i went to a study lounge on the top floor of our dorm, only to find it locked. i was kind of irritated and pissed so i kicked the glass and the damn thing shattered! as soon as it broke i ran and left my clueless friend behind ahaha poor soul. the RA's room is RIGHT next to the study lounge (directly adjacent, neighbours). with my quick agility i was able to outrun the RA but he was chasing my poor friend for some time haha. he got away by hiding his face against an elevator, waiting for it to open while the RA hovered around, wondering where we went. JUST LIKE THE MOVIES HOMIE

i'll say one more, but it's dumb like the one above. i almost never participated in dorm activities but my RA convinced me to play one game. it's a game where each person has to assassinate someone (chosen randomly). you're given the person's class schedule in order to help you kill the person. the way it works: if your assassinator finds you you're dead. you're only safe if you're in class or if you follow the safety rule of the day. a safety for one day may be hanging a sock outside of your backpack, wearing a pink thong over your pants, carrying a folding chair with you etc. my strategy was to never do any of the safety stuff (some of them were ridiculous. no self respecting guy would do some of them haha) and just outmaneuver my assassinator, whoever it may be. i did quite well--i took alternative routes and i hid behind trees before entering classes. I WAS JAMES BOND IN EVERY WAY. includingthelooksholla.

BUT one day i went to my dorm's cafeteria for a real quick purchase. i ran into a friend, and this was our conversation (not verbatim but close):

homie: how's it going
me: hey
homie: you're dead
me: that's nice. hey look at this line!
homie: give me your paper
me: uh what? WHAT! you're my killer!??? YOU'RE FROM MY HIGH SCHOOL! HOW CAN YOU BE MY KILLER!!

and then game over. all that james bond action only to be killed by a friend from my high school. sometimes life is just cruel haha.

^ lol i know it's so nerdish but EVERY SINGLE GIRL in my building has a huuuuge crush on him. he's greek. nuff' said. and he's not uptight or anything. when girls come home drunk he takes care of us and won't call ems.

Uhhh I got locked out of my dorm room, my cellphone died so I had to use a girls cellphone from down the hall...it was pretty embarressing actually....

I have only been to two parties and one was incredibly lame...

BUT at the first party, my sister left me and I was all alone and didn't know anybody...but these Taiwanese people started to talk to me and I occupied my time trying to learn some mandarin while drunk.

And uhhm...I don't have a minifridge but I really wanted fresh fruit...well I bought a bunch and had them for about a week...but then I stayed in my sisters dorm room for a few days and returned and it was all MOLDY and gross. I think cause it got incredibly hot in my room...but that was so nasty and I had fruit flies all over the place...ugh.

Meh, nothing interesting as of yet right now. I had orientation in July (which I had to pay 65$ for. Wtf.) It was a waste of time. NEVER GO TO FRESHMAN ORIENTATION. (Unless it's like an EOP - Educational Orientation Program orientation, shiz, I have to remember to read their policies..)

;/ I got lost on the first day and I had to ask like 3 people where the Adam Humantities building was =_=;; The next day when I had that same class I actually came early and opened the door and the previous class was still there. I was, "Ah.. crap.." and really confused >_< It was embarrassing and the people in my class were just standing in the hallway didn't even give me heads up on that. :/ How the heck was I suppose to know.. >> Apparently, I'm not having a good experience with college so far.

hahaha crazy stories..actually freshman orientation here was pretty fun XD..met lots of people and stuff..I thought the most boring one was when we had seminars about good and safe sex O_O...talked for 3 hours T_T and then he talked about porn..gosh..I was like falling asleep >.<

i have a single but i have 4 suitemates in 2 rooms (so they're roomies) and one of them had this disgusting pair of shoes that smelled like wet dog and it stunk up the whole house +_+ we tried to tell her nicely that her feet stunk but she said it was the shoes and put them outside on the patio where it got warm and stunk even more. finally she got rid of them and now it doesn't smell that bad anymore =_=
