Set deep in Antarctica and into the land of Emperor Penguins, where each needs a heart song to attract a soul mate, a penguin is born who cannot sing. Our hero Mumble, son of Memphis and Norma Jean, is the worst singer in the world--however, as it happens, he is a brilliant tap dancer!
Starring: Elijah Wood, Robin Williams, Brittany Murphy, Hugh Jackman, Nicole Kidman

the power of your intense fragility: whose texture
compels me with the colour of its countries,
rendering death and forever with each breathing

There were a lot of serious undertones, but many kids won't be able to pick it up or understand.

"Lemme tell chyu somethin'."
Oh, and it's nothing like March of the Penguins.

it is something kids would enjoy; but it's also something that could make adults stop and think how our actions can actually affect the world.
the visuals are good; and the music's fantastic. plus, I watched it in IMAX so it's double the fun! I highly recommend this. and man, Brittany Murphy sings good!

keep your head UP!

But yeah, I highly recommend this movie...I've never laughed as much since Ice Age 2. Robin Williams' superb, as always. Hugh Jackman & Nicole Kidman singing weren't bad either (as long as it didn't get into their heads to record an album
I think kids will pick-up the not-to-litter lesson but I don't know if the adults, esp. those industrial-wasteful co. or "world leaders" who should be doing something about the environment, will get it...what with all those the "bureaucratic restraint" and all....blah, blah, blah. Sadly!
