SOOO HAPPY FOR IZZIE AND ALEX!!!

hehe anatomy jane was also really cute!!!

Hahn was suchhh a pinkberry! then again she always is! i felt kinda bad when mcbadass was stabbing those pigs T____T i would have been like izzie and walked out after what he did. he needs to realize that he's not in iraq anymore and that he should use the resources that the hospital provides, which is alotta things and alotta ppl.

I'm also happy that Bailey got to say what she really wanted to say, she's always so passive most of the time.

Grey's is finally comming back!!!! woohoooo

Christina seems like the only one not getting laid on this show. It's about time that someone comes along. Can't wait!

Okay, how did McBadass know Cristina before?

He was in the second hour of the season premiere. He was a military doctor coming in with a patient and then later on, Cristina's outside the hospital with Meredith when she slips on the ground and an icicle gets stuck in her. Major Hunt treats her and yeah. I should probably mention they kissed lol, but then Cristina stopped it and Hunt left after that.

I liked Anatomy Jane too! xD I liked the part when Bailey was like to Meredith, "The doll that has optional pregnancy?" or whatever. And what cute names Mer made up for the parts of the doll rofl tongue.gif

Exclusive: 'Grey's Anatomy' Discharges Dr. Hahn

Brace yourselves, Grey's Anatomy fans: The show has parted ways with a female doc who is blond, beautiful, outspoken – and not Katherine Heigl. It's Brooke Smith. As in Dr. Erica Hahn. As in one half of Callica, Grey's first-ever significant gay couple. And that's only part of the story. I'm told this was not Shonda Rhimes' decision but rather an order that came down from the network. (ABC declined to comment.) According to one Grey's source, the suits "had issues" with both the explicit direction Callica was taking (think: undiscovered country, south of the border, etc.) and, more importantly, with the Hahn character in general. Basically, they didn't like her and wanted her gone ASAP. But how soon? And what does this mean for Callica? Keep yourselves braced, because the shocks don't stop in the following Q&A with the sublime Ms. Smith. She deserves better treatment than this, and next go-round, here's hoping she gets it.

AUSIELLO: What the hell happened?!
BROOKE SMITH: I was very excited when they told me that Erica and Callie were going to have this relationship. And I really hoped we were going to show what happens when two women fall in love and that they were going to treat it like any heterosexual couple on TV. And so I was surprised and disappointed when they just suddenly told me that they couldn't write for my character anymore.

That's all they said?
Yes. Frankly, it was you that warned me this might happen on the red carpet back in July. You said [sometimes networks get cold feet] with gay relationships. And I was so naive. I'm like, "It's 2008." But I'm starting to realize that not everyone feels the way I do. [Scroll down to watch our now-infamous exchange.]

Did you get the feeling that the story was making people nervous?
No. At work I had no sense of it. And more fans seemed to like it than not. I don't think I'm ever going to know [why this really happened].

When did you find out?

I found out in mid-September soon after shooting the monologue that aired last week where Erica has the revelation that she's gay. They even came down and told me it was a great scene -- one of the best they ever shot on the show. So I was really, really shocked. I was floored when they told me [I was being let go]. It was the last thing I expected. In fact, when they told me I asked, "When is this happening?" And they said, "The [next episode] is your last," which is the one that airs this Thursday. So it was very sudden.

Wait a second – your last episode is this Thursday?

Yes.

How are you written out?
I'm not written out. My final scene is just me heading to my car. I honestly don't know what happens in the next episode. I heard not much. [Quick sidebar: This sheds new light on Mary McDonnell's arrival next week as a top cardiac doc.]

Who broke the news to you?

Shonda.

I'm hearing that this wasn't her decision, but rather ABC's.

You know, I have to tell you, I got that feeling. I don't know for sure, but it definitely seemed like [Shonda's] hands were tied. That was just my gut.

Did she seem upset?
She did seem upset. I wasn't having a very good week that week. I was like, "Oh, God, what is it with this business?!" And she said, "No, no, no. You are such a great actress. We love you." It seemed like some decision came down from above. It didn't feel like it was her.

What was Sara Ramirez's [Callie] reaction?
She was shocked. I'm the one who told her. It took her a few days to get back to me because she was surprised. It was surprising to everybody.

Were you happy with the direction the story line was taking?

You know, I was starting to get there, yeah. I was personally a little impatient with the gay panic, but it was more Callie's thing anyway. I think Dr. Hahn was sort of figuring it out.

What did you think about Callie going to Mark to get pointers on exploring the "undiscovered country"?
It was a little icky. If you're a women, don't you know how to please yourself? But they seemed to be okay with that one.

How are you doing with all this?
It's actually never happened to me before. I never had a moment where I thought I did something wrong. I was just really surprised. I just moved my entire family to L.A., so it was kind of like, "What?" But for some reason I feel like I'm fine. I feel like I'm going to be okay.

Okay, Grey's fans. I'm guessing you have some strong opinions about Smith's ouster. Share them in the comments section below. But first, check out my aforementioned (and eerily prescient) interview with the actress from last July.

whaaaaat the hellllllllll? The entire ABC network really pisses me off lately.

They cancel Daybreak, then they cancel Journeyman, then they cancel Cashmere Mafia(was that abc?), and now this? SERIOUSLY?
I know they've probably done a lot more positive things than negative, but still this is so blaaah.

this has been the slowest and weakest season of Grey's anatomy for me, most of the episodes in the other seasons drove me to tears and this seasons premiere drove me to tears for the wrong reasons cuz it was so weak, it felt like an in between episode. i wished it would've started and continued with a bang.

i never really got into callica's story line but this is pretty sudden ohmy.gif
i feel bad for Brooke Smith. sad.gif imagine being let go like that and filming your last episode next thing.

the higher ups really know how to mess with other ppl's careers, not just here but everywhere.

edit: i guess its more than just getting rid of Hahn >< and now there's a rumour about Sara (Callie) being the next to go sad.gif

Brooke Smith Fired, Melissa George No Longer a Lesbian

Labels: Brooke Smith, Melissa George
It's true. Sources confirm that Brooke Smith, who plays Dr. Erica Hahn, has been axed from Grey's Anatomy.

Even more, I'm told by those who work on the ABC series that the gay-themed storylines and gay characters are being downplayed and even erased from upcoming scripts.

And that goes for the series' latest newcomer, Melissa George of Alias, who joins the show this month...

"Melissa came on as a lesbian character," a reliable insider tells me, "but they changed the script and now she isn't. She starts off flirting with Callie but it never goes anywhere."

Grey's has included a prominent bisexual/lesbian storyline this season in the blossoming relationship between Hahn (Smith) and Callie (Sara Ramirez). I'm told that that storyline will end abruptly in this Thursday's episode, which will be Smith's last appearance on the series.

"They don't really give her a goodbye," an ABC source tells me. "It ends rather abruptly."

E.W.'s Michael Ausiello first broke the news of Brooke's dismissal today. "I was very excited when they told me that Erica and Callie were going to have this relationship," Brooke told E.W. "And I really hoped we were going to show what happens when two women fall in love and that they were going to treat it like any heterosexual couple on TV. And so I was surprised and disappointed when they just suddenly told me that they couldn't write for my character any more."

ABC also fired Rebecca Romijn—who plays transgender Alexis Meade—as a series regular from Ugly Betty at the end of last season. Could this be a new trend with the network, or just another unfortunate scandal Grey's will withstand?

Me too! I didn't hated/loved the lesbian relationship. I frankly though it was kinda awkard and just fastforwarded or waited out their parts to the stuff I liked.
But I thought that the doctor Hahn had good potential (like last season). The writers just needed to write her something good.

So true. Good thing Christina is getting a loveline, she makes an interesting lovepartner. But the whole Meredith/McDreamy happy endings at like every episode now are boring. It's great they are together again, but where is the spark!? (Or the elevatortalks...)

Lame lame lame! If you look closely at the some of the shows from ABC, a lot of the lesbian characters are being let go. Like dirty sexy money. While a gay character from Brothers and Sisters is still on the show. And uncle Saul from that show just came out as gay. (his character did in the show)
LAME!!!
If you guys want Greys Spoilers head on over to spoilerfix.com

So is izzie seeing Denny because she missed him and the case was related to her... or she seeing him because she's about to have a tumour? unless if that's a mis-spoiler too.?

^ woah woah woah.... a tumor?? Where'd you hear that from?
Hm, it'd make quite an interesting twist though.

I'm pretty sure that she saw him because the case brought back really emotional times that she's still not able to recover from.
