X Japan suspends international tour due to Yoshiki's health
X Japan's Toshi assembles new project
X Japan officially confirms that concerts are postponed
X Japan reschedules Paris show for November
X Japan suspends international tour due to Yoshiki's health
QUOTE
Yesterday, it was reported that musician Yoshiki has suddenly canceled a scheduled visit to Korea and Taiwan, but the reason was unknown at the time. Today, it was learned that Yoshiki is currently suffering from some health problems, and as a result, X Japan's international concerts have been indefinitely postponed.
Yoshiki has been suffering from chronic disc herniation (also known as a "slipped disc") in his neck and is also experiencing tendinitis. For several years, he has been medically advised to wear a corset during his concerts to help address the problem, though he disregarded that advice for X Japan's reunion concerts at the Tokyo Dome in March. Despite suffering a separate injury during the first of those shows, he continued his energetic performances, and at the hide memorial event in May, he re-triggered the herniated disc.
According to one source, Yoshiki is at home in Los Angeles receiving medical treatment and is mostly immobilized. The extent of the injury this time is said to be serious. Yoshiki has previously had to take extended time off due to his condition, spending half a year in recovery in 1990 and nine months in 1996.
X Japan had scheduled concerts for Paris (July 5), Taiwan (August 2), and New York (September 13), with additional shows being planned. However, ticket sales have now been stopped. It is not yet known if and when the shows will be rescheduled.

X Japan's Toshi assembles new project
QUOTE
X Japan vocalist TOSHI held an urgent press conference on Wednesday to announce his new band, called TOSHI with T-EARTH. The news came only days after the revelation that Yoshiki has suffered from a slipped disc, resulting in a likely postponement of X Japan's scheduled overseas concerts.
TOSHI has labeled the band as an "eco hard rock" group. He commented that after performing at the "hide memorial summit" last month with many younger artists, he became motivated to start a new rock project. "I may not be able to scream in 3 or 4 years, so I felt I should do this while I still have the strength." He also mentioned that he wants to collaborate with younger musicians.
So far, TOSHI has gathered two guitarists - former Phantasmagoria member JUN and current Charlotte member TOYA. TOSHI will reveal the group's drummer, bassist, and keyboardist in the future. Musician MASAYA is acting as producer.
The band plans to start a tour on August 12 at Zepp Nagoya. The tour includes two Zepp Tokyo performances scheduled for September 3-4. TOSHI also said that he has already received offers to play overseas, though nothing has been made official yet

X Japan officially confirms that concerts are postponed
QUOTE
X Japan formally announced on Tuesday that they are postponing the three international concerts that they have scheduled so far. With Yoshiki in Los Angeles recovering from a slipped disc and tendinitis, the other three members of the band held a press conference in Tokyo to discuss the postponement.
The band emphasized that they will continue with their concerts as soon as possible. They were originally scheduled to perform in Paris on July 5, in Taiwan on August 2, and in New York on September 13. No specific dates have been chosen yet for the rescheduled concerts.

X Japan reschedules Paris show for November
QUOTE
The reunited rock band X Japan announced on Wednesday that it has rescheduled its Paris concert, which was originally set for July 5 before Yoshiki's health forced the group to suspend their plans. The new date is November 22, and the show will be held at the Palais Omnisports de Paris Bercy.
The Paris concert will be the start of their "world tour," with the New York and Taiwan concerts expected to take place after that. An additional show is also being planned for Korea.

I'm having such a good laugh right now... X-Japan are currently holding their 2-day HK concert... Yoshiki was 1.5 hours late for the press conference, which is a usual... But none of the other members showed up really made me laugh... Their reasons??? Well, Heath is supposedly too tired, Pata has a hangover, Toshi hasn't arrived in HK yet, and Sugizo is sick... I think Heath and Pata had a bit too much... It's so typical of them... I'm not mad at them... I just found it hilarious... It's like the good old days...
Although X-Japan postponed their NYC tour, I'm going to be optimistic and hope they'll come...
