so i know this has to do with fashion but decided to put in in the college forum because it targets college kids :]

So for those of you that live in CA, why kind of shoes are you wearing for Fall? I would love to wear flip flops year round but i dont want my poor toes to freeze off xD. Personally, I like cute boots and high high HIGH heels but as an incoming freshmen with no car, ill be walking around campus a lot. So what kind of shoes do you recommend that are cute/fashionable but also dont look ridicously over-dressed while going to class?

i wear flip flops year round accept when it's raining ofcourse or when i feel like dressing up. but as you get more into college mode you'll dress down even if you're a fashion fanatic

anything as long as it's comfortable to walk in, trust me you'll do a lot of walking around campus

even if you did have a car you wouldn't be driving from building to building in between classes. i wear chucks, dunks, jordans because well i have to walk back and forth between buildings and it's college and you're there to learn not walk down a fashion runway it's really impractical to be walking around in heels. besides it looks like you're trying too hard.

it`s definitely possible to walk around in high heels.
but i`m usually in flip-flops unless it rains xD

i pretty much wore only 3 pairs of shoes:

1) flip flops every damn day except during...
2) cold weather - i wear my uggs
3) rainy weather - i wear my rainboots

i go to school in riverside so it's pretty warm most of the time.. except when it starts raining like a mother. but other than that, flip flops forever! oh and i brought a pair of heels for parties/special occasions and sneakers for the gym.. honestly, i laugh at girls who dress up and wear heels for class. i mean, c'mon.. nobody cares. if you're craving for attention, sure, you'll get it.. but people aren't giving you attention b/c you're hot. it's b/c you look ridiculous. lol.

i personally think flip flops are out.

they don't match what's fashion anymore.

unless ur going for the hollister/ae/af/typical white look


plus..i think on women...its not very flattering to look at. it does exactly what the name implies...it makes u look FLOPPY.

Normally, I operate in two modes

1. Flip-flops
2. Chucks


However, once a week or so, I wear cute flats or heels. Since I go to school in D.C., a LOT of girls dress really nicely (they have jobs on the Hill, etc).

I refuse to wear flip flops anymore. I walk around A LOT on campus, and my feet hurt so much

i`m very fashion conscious.
I have to look nice everyday soo.... haha ^ ^;;
