i've researched for a while and this is the best i can find so far

http://www.sonystyle.com/is-bin/INTERSHOP....alVoiceRecorder

is there a better/more convenient one out there?

if not, which color ><

there's a light blue one that's 256mb (too little memory)

the white one's 512mb

and the navy's a gig

i want a gig in white, but that's not available, but i really only need 512 to record lectures

that is if i can get the new ipod nano for Christmas

In my opinion... use your MP3 player if you have one. Ipods offer a recorder for $30, and a lot of other mp3 playres have built in recorders. Of course this is if you have one and I think most people end up getting one anyways.
