I am trying to buy some plane tickets online, but they all seem to be pretty expensive. I was wondering where do you guys buy plane tickets to go back home? What methods do you use to save some cash?

I always go to travel.yahoo.com, which is really Travelocity

The only method I can think of is to buy REALLY EARLY.
and I usually fly American Airlines because it seems to have the most flights when I search

you can go to find some agents from the yellow book (asian agents), they can find a cheap ticket for you.

Yeah, buying early will save you a ton of money and head aches. I'm going back to WA this X-mas and I already bought my tickets last month. Save me about 100 bucks and the hassle of looking for last minute deals, which can be quite a rip off.

I just checked out Sidestep.com, it looks like a pretty neat site. I wish I had found it before I bought my ticket, could've saved me 20-40 bucks more.
Bah, humbug!

My dad works for the airlines and so I only have to pay taxes for my plane tickets plus being a student guarantees me a spot on the flight of my choice otherwise i'd get on when there are extra seats on the airplanes.
