I dropped it on agx's and used 5zigen springs...overall I'm not very happy with the drop...its not low enough at all...especially disapointed since people talked about how low this spring drops...I have a slight ass sag as well. It handles much better and the ride is firm but not harsh, still getting used to it...the potenza re050a's i just put on are AWESOME....they hold like no other. The car can handle a lot more than I can, I get scared because I get to the threshhold of where the car would slide before and i push maybe 5mph faster and it doesnt even squeel but I still have to relearn the cars limits, the tires are just getting broken in and havn't gotten an alignment yet but much more to come in the future.

thats a really nice pic, probably one of the best pics ive seen of a subaru. what are the spring rates of those springs?

Thanks, I didnt take it, my resident photo guy did. He was actually really disapointed with the shoot, thats the only pic he tried to salvage, didnt evne post it in his usual galleries. Going to try to go out for a better shoot within the future.

They are a progressive lowering spring with rates of 169.3-225.7 lbs/inch front and 79-180.6 lbs/inch rear. Suppositely they drop 1.6" in the front and 1.5" in the back

I think its a bit soft....but I got them in a trade, so I can't complain. Traded a momo steering wheel I had lying around.

*drool* Beautiful.

5Zigen makes springs!? Wow, I did not know that. If you want it lower, why not save up for some coils? My recommendation: Apexi ExV... 12k rate all around and 32way adjustable. YUM!

not bad...reminds me of my friends gc8.
those rims, they didn't come gold did they? looks like you painted them because they look semi-bronze in the pic....and they're too shiny to be the factory ones.

so is this just a grocery getter? or is it a grocery getting on steroids?

does he? I dunno, he has a huge wing and his cars white too, has gunmetal rims and his whole front end is clear, clear fogs, clear cornors.....Havn't seen yoru 240 around, my friend has an s14 that goes there. Red slammed s14...with the whole front part of the bumper missing....he's installing his sr20 right now.

Panda: I dont relaly know, I think its suppositely for towing, it came with the car. another guy told me its for when you take yoru car to the track, yuou can start it from there or SOMETHING...iono.

Yeah I think that is him.

I've seen a few S14s around CSM, none that i know with SR's though. Tell him to make sure the bolts from the exhaust manifold to the turbo (I think those are the ones) there is a clamp of some sort that goes over them, if it's not done right you get a horrible leak. It sounds horrible, like a cat being up into a blender or something.

I'll wave to you if i see you around though, your car kind of sticks out lol

Not bad, what setting did you adjust it to on the agx's. My friend actually has 2 2.5rs's, one a 98 with dohc, and the other is a 2000 which is sohc. The thing with those gen's is that, even if you tuck them they would still won't look as low as it should. My friend is running Megan coils, and i think they are really good for this car smile.gif.
