you guys may know me or may but im askin for some recommendation. I don't know if a similar topic has been posted but help a brother out. what are some cheap internet service providers that don't require a phone service? Maybe less than 20 bucks...yup i heard of netzero and all those other similar ones, i looked through their website but i still am not sure. i think there is a fee to talk to them on the phone so screw that. yea so lookin for a cheap internet provider that dont need a phone service and has high availability, meaning it can be hooked up or connected from most US cities. im pretty sure there are fellow poor guys like me that have cheap/free isp, but since im not good with isp im askin you guys for tips and reccommendations.

back home its time warner cable and sbc yahoo dsl
im not sure about others
and at school up north they have comcast and sbc yahoo dsl
yea...and jsut to warn u...dont go through companies who dont use their own cables/lines (earthlink and stuff) because it takes them longer to fix problems and yea...
