well i'm a 2nd year and i just moved into an apt with some friends...my roommate and i are fine. but there's this girl, she's not my friend but she's sort of my roommates friend i guess but she just wanted to live with us and so we let her. but she's not very considerate of others nor does she contribute anything to the apt. her roommate didn't really contribute anything thus far either but...i'm friends with her but she's trying to contribute...it's just that she didn't have the chance to do anything bcuz she lives far from school and she doesn't have a car, but she trys. and she offers to buy things and stuff. but this other girl, she is like wow. we buy all the food, cook it, and clean afterwards. and she just eats it. i don't have a problem sharing things like food and what not, but she specifically told me that she was not going to buy food or eat the food we buy. cuz i told her that we should take turns buying food for the apt or buy it together but she told me that she was going to bring her own food so we just take care of that. and she doesn't share her things...like her food and stuff. like she went to costco yesterday and asked us if we needed anything so my roommate told her to buy the fabric softener sheet for the dryer so she did...and she keeps it in her room. like wtf...my roomamte bought detergent and left it in the laundry room for everyone to use but this other girl leaves it in her room. and we had a problem with furniture...we needs to get our sofa and coffee table so she was going to get it with her dad...but none of us could be at the apt to help..so she started complaining that if we weren't going to be there to help that she wouldn't bring it. so she didnt'. she just brought her stuff. so after we moved in my roommate and i had to ask a friend to take us and drive us 40 minutes away to get it when the she could've just picked it up on her way here...she's just selfish...like i want to tell her but my roomamte doesn't want to make things weird..ugh so i'm just wondering...what did you guys do when you had to live with a person like this? sorry that it's so long..i needed to rant.

well mate lets be considerate about why she might stuff like that, maybe she had problems with flat mates in the first year?

seriously i was nice enough to let people use my plates and bowls, you know what? its been a week and i already lost 1 plate and 1 bowl. Not to mention when they use my pans,bowls,etc they dont even clean it. ontop of that one of them dont even flush the toilet when his done >.< so yeah i bung my stuff in my room.

As for the other bit about being selfish, students have to got to watch what they spend and really cant just willy nilly buy food, for example one may eat more then another etc, and i think she feels probably feels like a outsider. my point is would you give a stranger £5?

If you try make her feel welcome im sure she might lighten up, anyways im not slating you just trying to point out some reasons why she might be like that

thanks but she hasn't had problems the year before. we all lived in the dorms and we hung out. and if it is about the money, then what about us? we have to buy everything with our money but she eats all of it. and we know it's not like that...cuz that's just her personality, she's inconsiderate. when i say that i don't mean it in a bad way, that is really the way her personality is...if you meet her you can tell she only cares for herself. right now, she wants US to buy a microwave for her. she's been naggin US, when we all know she's the only one that really needs it and she knows it too because she keeps say i need a microwave i need a microwave. but she wants us to buy it so she can use it cuz she said she doesn't need it next year. isn't that messed up? she wants us to buy a microwave so she can use it when we don't need it? and we want hang out with her, we try, but she goes off with her other friend all the time, she's the one who doesn't try to hang out with us...like we all wanted to go out for dinner after we moved in but she declined because she wanted to go out with her friend whom she saw everyday before that. so yeah...but thanks anyways. i know this is useless rant but i just wanted to clear things up.

that's what i did - i told my roommates annoying friend to beat it because she was being annoying.

i never talked to her again -____- thankfully.

actually both of them were being annoying. not only would her friend eat all "my" hard-earned bought food...
they would make meals for themselves and just eat it for themselves and not even offer... not that i would take it anyway...
but kind of "hanshim hae" bc the chick eat my food but then they wouldnt even think of sharing theres~~
and she didnt pay for anything. she was basically pinching off my roommate and my roommate's amenities~
and my roommate is like "blind" to see that... she's being used~

so now we seperate all our shiet- basically we dont share anything.
