Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone could give me the basic gist of how SM Town was formed, when it was formed, it's first artists, and all that good jazz? I can't read Korean too well, so I can't read the stuff from the site. Help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Let's see..the basics of the very first SM artists were H.O.T. and SES. Then came Dana, Fly to the Sky, Shinhwa, Blackbeat, M.I.L.K [note they were formed by Moon Hee Jun, but advertised by SM] BoA. I think H.O.T., SES, Shinhwa and Fly To The Sky were all before the millenium and the rest, BoA, Dana, Blackbeat, M.I.L.K., Shinvi were all after the millenium. And of course then comes DBSG, CSJH, Super Junior and Jang Li Yin. Woops I forgot Isak N Jiyeon. I think they were before the millenium? Or were they after?

Thanks. Does anyone else have any information? The SM in SM Town stands for the creator of it, Lee Soo Man, yes? Does anyone know when it was formed?

At first, it stood for Soo Man Entertainment, but now I guess it is now Star Museum Entertainment.
I believe it started around the mid 90s. Not sure though.
